Whenever I start petz 4, I get this: Same with petz 5. I've tried, reinstalling, removing the carrot seeds. nothing. I even removed everything I downloaded. Completely clean. The 2nd problem is I broke my adoption center. I wanted to replace the adoption center pic for a breed I made and I did it wrong and whenever I go to the adoption center it says "ERROR: whisper.bmp could not be found" And I replaced the russian blue file. Downloaded a new one. and it still came up! HELP ME PLEASE

Do you have some petz in-game? 'Cause it could be that one of them is a corrupted file.
Edit - Have you tried reinstalling the game to solve the second problem?

Oh duh, sorry. My fault. >< I guess that reinstalling the game would fix the AC part.
But on to the other part... The Unhandled Exception Error (C0000005) can be caused by a number of different things. It could be something like a corrupted file, or whatever. But removing the file won't always solve it. Have you tried to clean up your Registry and then reinstalling the game? I also read something about an old or corrupt dll file that can cause these errors. Or a duplicate version of a dll.

I deleted the registry, and that didn't work. I also turned the thing on my sound card to none and it still didn't work. UGG. It was working completely fine until now, so I don't see why it isn't?

Do you install P4 with original cd's or are you using the Demo + PetzA method? If you are using cd's and something doesn't work right anymore on them, maybe try installing the game through the demo and see if that makes a difference? I don't know actually, but maybe it's worth the try? For the P5 problem, I have no idea...=[

Sometimes downloading the main .exe from Sherlock Software can fix messed up games...not sure if it'll work for you, but it's worth a try www.sherlocksoftware.org/page.php?id=7 (second set of downloads)

I thiiiink this was resolved over at PCG with the solution being to run with Windows 2000 compatibility. I could be wrong, but I swear I just read this.
