Do anyone know of a good, free antivirus protection? I had McAfee and my coverage is up and I really don't have a lot of money to spend to renew it! So does anyone know of anything that works well? I'd hate to get a virus and I'm a little paranoid and do a scan pretty much every week :-[ buttt yeah any help would be nice!

McAfee is garbage - it doesn't protect you against anything. Use Malware Bytes - it's completely free and every time I was hit with something, it cleaned it out right away. It's the best program I've found to combat viruses. www.malwarebytes.org/

As I always say, you'd be better off threatening the viruses with a big stick and hoping they go away, than instaling McAfee.

If you want an overall virus protector, try Avast. It's pretty good. It's better than Kaspersky, which is normally paid for but I have a free subscription for a year and I am not happy. Not even like, 20 minutes into having it and a trojan appeared.
I'd also recommend getting a better firewall, if you don't already have one installed. ZoneAlarm is probably the best free one, but it's not compatible with Kaspersky so I'm stuck with super-controlling Comodo.
