So I've really wanted to get into showing for a while. I've already posed a few Mudi and decided I really like that breed. But I'm looking for more breeds. I was wondering what breeds people started off with showing? Or if anyone had breeds they recommend for beginner showers?

I like Sporting, Working, Gundog, etc. I'm pretty much into most of the groups. I think I like Hound, Utility, and working the most.

Stay away from Java breedz and the newer Supernova breedz, as not all of those align properly so they will be harder to get good poses from unless you are experienced.
I would recommend a cat breed to start off because they are the easiest to align and pose. If you really want a dog breed, don't go for the petzy breedz just yet, those are also pretty hard to align xD Let me look around for a few breedz that might be considered easy xD
If you want to look over the PKC accepted breedz, just click Parade and either Dogz or Catz for a whole set of pictures.

It kinda depends on the person, I personally found the show-type CKBC's easy to pose when I was restarting. ^^ Since you like Mudi, you might want to give those a shot.

When I first started out I found the easiest breed to pose was the Abno. v2 Mallies and I still show them to this day. I would probably agree with Artemis and go through the PKC accepted breeds. Just find a couple breeds that are appealing to you and try posing them in your game.

I've been stalking the PKC breeds list forever now haha. I was looking at Abno breeds (not the newest ones) and Bedazzled breeds?

I'd probably go with one of the newer (though not the newest, but newer xD) Abno breedz because they pretty much align perfectly. There are also a few Abno breedz that are co-created like the Greyhound, Italian Greyhound and Samoyed which are all pretty good. IG is small so that might be hard but Samoyed seems pretty simple.
The Bedazzled breedz are pretty hard to align because they don't align perfectly. I have a Canaan Dog from that file and it's not a piece of cake, believe me, haha.

So by newer you mean older than the 2009 or 2010 ones but newer than the petzy looking ones? Such as Dachshunds and around there?

Curse you Artie... -DLs Greyhound- D:
Anywho... When I was really into showing dogz I had Mudi, Abno Basenji, Java GSD, GK English Pointers and random other breeds. None of them were very easy (mudi are prolly the easiest out of that list). I do really enjoy showing OB dalis :3

I mean newer as in less petzy. But the newer Abnormality breedfiles are a lot easier to align than even some of their slightly older/still new ones. There's a whole list of recent Abnormality breeds (even going into last year) on the PKC forum that you can check out/try out.
