for the longest time, on any account that i go on on my computer, it won't let me upload anything. it's really inconvenient because i have to upload my pictures separately on another image hosting site instead of in bulk. has this happened to anyone else? and can i fix it somehow? that would be pretty cool.
oh and when i say it won't let me upload anything, i mean it just says that it's unable to upload the images when i press upload. and it has the little red x's on it like it's all ghetto and crap.

Wait, is there an error message? I'm googling this problem and some people are getting a network error. This is the link I'm looking at answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090714073853AAKHxM3. Just found another related question and it could be a firewall problem that is blocking it, so you might have to edit the settings on your firewall if the other solutions don't work.

What browser do you use? I'm trying to figure it out on Firefox, but I have an add-on that sort of acts like a firewall so I add exceptions through that.

No idea. I was playing with mine, but I don't think you can allow exceptions from particular sites, just programs.
Hrm. Try Tools > Options > Content > Loading > Exceptions. Try adding Photobucket to the exceptions list for loading images.

It did that a few times to me.
It keeps blocking photobucket on my computer, so maybe if you make sure your browser considers it as a safe site, it'll work..?
Dunno. Worth a try, at any rate.

It did that to me ughhhhh. I could only use the bulk uploader until my computer got a virus and I had to reformat >___>
So I have no idea how to fix it >< Does the bulk uploader work at all?

I use photobucket with Firefox and it seems to work fine. I use NoScript and I had to allow photobucket and pbsrc. Are you using the most updated version of Firefox? Make sure photobucket.com and pbsrc.com are both allowed.

What addons are you using with Firefox? If you aren't using any and you have Javascript enabled then they would both be allowed and I'm not sure what the problem could be.
To make sure Javascript is enabled...
Tools > Options > Content Makes sure Enable Javascript is ticked.

... well I'm out of ideas. I suppose you could... you know. Open up... *whispers* IE8. >_> Or if you're on a Mac, try Google Chrome or something.
I'm not sure why your Firefox is having problems, it's such a great web browser. If you go Help > About Mozilla Firefox, what version does it say it is? It should be around v3.6.8. If it's not then you should update it.
I hope you get your problem fixed, photobucket is the first place I always go to for image uploading, as annoying as some of its features are (like the pop ups when they have new features, and the stupid 'ADD TAGS NOW PLZKTHX' things that keep reenabling every time they update it.
