Please tell me this. So, at first I tried making my own playscene and it messed up royally. So I just decided to stick to downloaded ones. Well, the same thing happened, which is this: This is the same exact thing that happened when I tried to make my own playscene. I removed the playscene that I had made myself, thinking that was the problem. But it still happened. The screen stays like that. Petz don't come out distorted because you can't even see them. And the picture of the playcase isn't even the playcase, you can't click it. You have to repeatedly click around the screen until you find the buttons. -_- Can someone please help me? ;;

Hrm, do you have the right resolution for the game to run properly? That's my first thought when I saw this, haha.

Well that's what I was thinking too, but my game has no other problems other than this one. What resolution is the game supposed to be played in? I know if I open P5, I have huge problems because my resolution isn't right. (But I don't play P5 so I never bothered to fix it.)

It's meant to be run with 1024x768, if I recall. That's what size I needed to use when making playscenes.
I actually have 1440x990 so I'm not much help because it works for me.
Maybe try running with Windows XP compatibility? Or as Admin?

I am Admin on my computer. I took the resolution down one notch, and it worked. But it made everything else on my computer took awful. ;_; What is Windows XP compatibility?

You have to right click, Properties, Compatibility and then select one of the options.
If you don't like it when it's down a notch, try going up to my resolution (if you can)? Mine's the highest I can get on my screen and I have no problems with Petz.

My resolution doesn't go any higher. And I tried what you said, but there was no 'Properties' option. :/

Did you right click on the game icon? It won't work on the playscene, but you have to do it on the game icon. It's where you would click "Run as Administrator" which you have since you said you're the admin.

That didn't work. :/

Then I guess you'd have to run it on a smaller resolution. Did you run it on 1024x768 or did you try to gradually go smaller until it works?

I just went to the next lowest resolution, which was 1280 by 768. I have a widescreen monitor on my laptop so it seems like a really low resolution. :/ Do you think uninstalling and resinstalling the game might help?

It might, it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

Well, I have the not so legitimate version of p4, if you understand what I mean. I don't know if there are still places I can get it. Does Mkay's version work?
