The year 2012 hadn't been what the human race expected. Their species had been destroyed by a terrible plague, but other animal species were not removed from the Earth. The animals started to take over... Only the Strong will SurviveSome domestic animals couldn't live without their human companions and died alone in their homes. Other, stronger and bigger animals, however, could break out of the human houses and into the wild world. Cats, rodents, reptiles, and dogs soon ruled over cities... The Wild Awaits youThese animals needed more space and expanded throughout the continents. They started becoming wilder with every step they took. They formed packs, hunted prey, and most forgot about the humans... The Legend has BegunNow, groups of animals live in every region of the world. One of these areas is located in Eastern Russia, were the Summers are beautiful, but the Winters are brutal. Mostly dog packs have invaded this area and are fighting every day for survival. There are two doors; one is the door to peace where everyone sticks together and helps each other, the second door leads towards a world were you only care for yourself and don't trust anyone. Which door will you choose? IMMORTALITYimmortalitylegend.proboards.com

Urgh, I was going to join, and then I saw the 200 word post count. I hate having to count my words as I post. Of course, most of my posts would naturally be longer than that, but it would stress me.

^ 200 words is not that bad, haha. Most want 400+ words, which is why I've been laying low, waiting for a good RPG. For 200 words, I don't usually count, I just type up however much I'm going for then I use a word counter to see where I am Usually it's pretty okay. I'll check it out, though from a first glance I don't know if it grabs me like some other RPGs do in terms of looks.

The dis-calculic girl in me protests. xDD It's not the fact that there's a word count (my posts are usually more than that by more than half), but that I have to count them.
I still might join, I just don't like the idea of my ~creativity~ having word requirements. I guess I'm just used to free-form rp.

I think they just want people to post more than a few sentences? Not that I'm saying you don't, but it's more of a guideline so that the people who post with you will have something to go off of. An old RPG I was on (or lurked around, not sure) explained what you could include in your post to make it better and easier to reply to. Because it wouldn't be fair to, for example me, if you started off with a nice big paragraph or two and I replied with a paragraph or two and then you posted again with only about 5 or 6 sentences. I don't have much to go on but I try to post another paragraph and then you reply with another couple of sentences. Not really fair xD I don't think it's like, to the dot required but more for the benefit of the posters. I like free form roleplaying as well, but when you've been on sites and you post 1000+ word posts each, I've seen some of the roleplaying done around here that's like, three sentences and I cringe because there's like, no detail, haha xD Anyway, not trying to argue, just explaining why they might have word limits

Actually, it's 200 letters ^^ So basically at least about 8 sentences. I wont be too strict on this rule, as long as there are no one liners I'm fine. I understand if you still don't want to join though : )

See, I used to be on furcadia. I'm used to posts of about 2,000 words each, I've just never had to count them. Something about it just... bothers me? xDD
Idk, I'm still considering joining, though.
