This is what I am doing:
1.)Creating HTML pages in notepad
2.) Creating paths that link to the images on my computer
3.)Saving the pages as .html files
Now, if I open the pages with IE, the images show up and all is well.
However, if I try to open them with firefox, the images don't work.
I am using frames with CSS to position my images by pixels
<A href="C:\Users\Kristen\Desktop\html\familyroom.html"><img style="position:absolute; top:480px; left:525px; 139px;
height:147px" src="C:\Users\Kristen\Desktop\Petz\Home\enter.png" border="0"></A>
The problem is that IE seems to position them differently than firefox. I don't know if it's just the preview that's the problem or if IE and Firefox just don't read the code the same in general. If THAT'S the case, I'm just going to make my site a 'must be viewed using Firefox' kind of thing for now.
Soo, what I am asking is...how come firefox won't show the images when I'm previewing the html files?...and how do I get it to work? I don't want to use IE to position the images because then they'll just end up in the wrong place for firefox users...
