No idea how this could have happenend, but I've been breeding with some Calico and Tabby ow files and when I put the original breed files back in the game, the Tabby one wouldn't show up anymore...:/. When I go to the adoption center I simply can't adopt the tabby no more. The screen that popped up said that I needed to re install the game for it to work again, but is that really the only solution? And does anyone know what may have caused this to happen? So that I know how I can prevent it from happening again..
Thank you so much x3.

Are you getting a corrupted message? And have you tried downloading the breedfiles from the thread in this board (Petz Talk), or are you just putting YOUR copy into the game? I'd try downloading it, personally. Idk, I've never heard of this!

I'm not sure if you've downloaded any other files, but it could be that an extra file has the same ID number as the Tabby file, so it's overwriting the file because they have the same ID.
Try taking out all of your catz files other than the origanals, and see if it works. If it works after that, then one of your other files is overwriting your Tabby file.
This happened ealier with me & one of Relo's files.. I don't remember the name, but I know it started with a B x3
Hopefully that works for you and you figure it out! :3 And I'd double check that they're really the origanals, like Ninja Devil said, and download the origanals just incase.

I've downloaded the original and tried to put it in the game, but it still didn't show up=(. What you are saying Jess could very well be the problem, since I did use some of Relo's ow's.. I don't know what you mean by that though..haha, but I think another file is indeed overwriting my tabby file. but if downloading the file doesn't work? Thank you<3

Take out ANY file you've downloaded. Replace it with the originals (i.e: you have a B+W Shorthair OW, and an Aussie breedfile. Remove both, replace the OW with the original). Make sure the game is closed while you do this, and it'll probably help to restart your computer afterwards.
When restarted, open the game and see if it's worked.
If it has, put the breedfiles back in, one by one, checking by opening the game. The moment your tabby file disappears, you know you've got the problem. (:

No problem. I hope that it's just a matter of a breedfile overwriting your tabby file, and not something else. Good luck!

There is a glitch in Petz that knocks off the bottom 1 or sometimes 2 breeds. With Tabby being the last its the most common to disappear but sometimes the meezer goes with it. The way you fix it is to put a breefiles in that starts with a Z (the last letter of the alphabet. I have some fixer files i use you can use my Tabby Z fixers if you like =3 www.estaar.co.uk/petz/Stars_Tabby_Fixer.zip (You might need to right click and save as, or copy the URL and paste it in your address bar if it does not download properly) Just pop the A in your game and then see if it brings your tabby back, if not then add B also =3
