So i have a macbook. It's wonderful, except I'd love to get back into petz again. I know of the various windows-running programs such as bootcamp, parallels, and fusion. I have bootcamp, which came with my mac. The others have to be purchased. I'd prefer to just use bootcamp since it's easy and free. I love free. xD
Is there any possible way I can run windows on a mac without actually buying a copy of windows? I don't have any windows CDs lying around that haven't been used yet, and I really don't want to shell out over 100 bucks for a copy. Help? >__>

The only way I could think you could do it would be to install the Windows 7 Release Candidate; however since it's only available for another couple of days, I'd do that sooner rather than later.

How would I be able to do that though? For Bootcamp, it asks for a valid windows disk during installation. Can I install the windows 7 thing onto Leopard and then burn it to a disc or something? If this would work, I would def. go for it.
Also, will it stop working once Windows 7 is released?

What you do is download the Windows 7 iso, then burn it to a disk so it's bootable. A quick google search should find you a couple free iso burners for the mac. That will give you your valid windows disc. Windows 7 Release Candidate will continue to work until April 2010; after that you won't have a choice but to buy a copy of windows.
