I've been working on putting some final touches on the layout for my new website, but for some reason no matter where I put the code, I can't get the layout to be centered in the middle of the page... I'm using the <center> command. Does this not work on Freewebs?

Is your site made by a drag-and-drop editor?

Honestly, I have no clue. x] Someone else coded the majority of it, and I'm just re-aligning some things and adding some finishing touches. I barely know HTML; just the basics.

Are you trying to center the layout image?
If so, I always use coding such as this since <center> never works for me.
<img src="IMAGENAME/LINK" border="0" usemap="MAPNAME" style="position:absolute; top:50px; left:80px;">
Just adjust the "top:50px; left:80px" numbers to adjust where it goes on the page, the bigger the number, the further away it will be from that side. You can leave the "usemap="MAPNAME"" out if you are not using an image map.
You also have to keep in mind that you can center it on your screen, but for people with smaller or bigger screens than yours, it won't look centered.
