What type of area do you live in?
Two (2) options are available per person in case a) you have split homes from separated parents or guardians, b) more than one option applies to your current place of residence, or c) you own or rent multiple places f.ex a summer home or a winter gettaway.
Pick whichever best applies to your current living situation.

Suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. Would much prefer to live farther out in the country or even in the middle of nowhere

I 'grew up' in Cambridge, Ohio, although I was born here in West Virginia, and am now currently back again. :P
Mmm. I suppose you'd call our area rural, although simply 'underdeveloped' wouldn't be a stretch, either.
And just in case anyone was curious ... Silver Lake, LA (which I'm in the habit of putting as my location online) is a reference to Walt Disney and a bit of a tribute to the place where he essentially began his career. They (he and his brother Roy) had a studio there in which they began work on the Alice Comedies [although the actual pilot was produced in Kansas City].
I love Walt Disney. n_n;;

I'm not quite sure what to put... My city is called a "large city" by wikipedia, but i don't think it's a major city. But my street is right off the exact center of downtown.
Though checking wikipedia did give me a nice little trivia fact about my city... out of all the cities rated by Places Rated Almanac, my city came in the top 10 worst places to live in 1999. >_<
EDIT: Also this... "Waterbury’s economic decline in the 1970s and 1980s resulted in it being ranked as having the worst quality of life of 300 U.S. metropolitan areas by Money Magazine in 1992"
"Waterbury was also recently rated as the one of the "Worst Places for Businesses and Careers in America" by Forbes Magazine in April 2008"
Gotta love home!

Middle of nowhere. It's not that there's not a lot of people here or anything, but it's not on the map. It's an interesting place to live in, it's one of those places you love and hate at the same time. And it's in Nevada, so it's definitely a type of beauty you have to appreciate.

Technically, I live in the city, but it's usually considered a suburb. Also, it apparently has the highest level of fitness of any Canadian city. x3 Woot.

I live in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of a very small town. It isn't quite a countryside, but it is in the country so to speak. I like living here, even though the nearest medical facility (both human and pet) is 3 hours away... that is an inconvenience. It's interesting to see what types of areas people live in

My "city" has a population of under 12,000. However, there are two adjoining cities within 10 miles of us. I consider Peshtigo, Marinette and Menominee to basically be one city. Ours is the prettiest. lol

I live in a small 'Rural / Countryside' village, my house kinda backs onto woodland (well it would if the school playground was not in the middle xD) We have a small town about 15-20 mins drive away or a flipping long walk through the woods.

I chose rural/countryside, even though people say that we live in the middle of nowhere xD We live on the outer-edge of a small town, with lots of land and hardly any neighbours.
Had I been smart enough to realize we could choose two options, I also would've chosen suburbs. Even though it's not really a suburb... its pretty far away from any city, but the land is only about 4 acres with alot of neighbours. We're moving there soon... I don't really know why... xD
