Change the color of the text in a table? I keep trying to change it. I can change the background color, but the text always stays black. How can I change it to white? Here is my site. It's on the main page: www.freewebs.com/silverbreezekennels/

I looked through the tutorials for tables, but it didn't say anything about changing the color of text inside the table

you do it the same way you do it with regular text. My website uses frames and my text is white but I'm using an external style sheet. Are you using a style sheet at all? Maybe you can take a screen shot of your source code (the html stuff) and post it. I can take a look.

here is the table
<center><TABLE CELLPADDING=8 CELLSPACING=1 bgcolor="#ffffff"> <TR> <TD>Welcome! This site is dedicated to the Petz games. We have lots of activities and links to check out. Have a good time!</TD> <TD><img src="http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn248/Silverstripe13/Jaquita3.png"></TD> </TR> <TR></TR> </TABLE></center>

Do you want all of the words white or just the words in one cell of the table? if you want all of the words in the entire table to be white (every single cell) then where you have your body tag <body> add: text="#000000" so that it looks like <body text="#000000">
you can add code to different parts of the website to change the color of the font though, so it's only white by default if you do that.
edit edit: actually I went to your site and found your code: <body bgcolor="#4D4D4D" bgproperties="fixed"> so just add the text color at the end so it looks like: <body bgcolor="#4D4D4D" bgproperties="fixed" text="#000000">
also you have two body codes, I don't think it's causing any issues but the capitalized one can be removed as it's serving no purpose.
more editing: actually... you're using an Iframe inside of the table which means you will have to add the body code to all of your underlying pages, or you can add it to a CSS document if your website has one (which is a style sheet.)
and another edit as complete spam: I want to steal that bear muttlie thing... o.o it is begging me to do so. XD
more editing: I really think an external style sheet would help you the most because then you only have to modify one document that would then update all of the pages as far as font, color, size, type, background, any themes...etc.

Thanks! The first one worked fine. That is probably the only time I'll use a table in my site anyway.
btw, for helping me out, I could maybe give you a custom of my muttlie bears?
