Okay, I've been playing around with trying to figure out how to use external textures...Each time I pause, think, and then go "OH! That MUST be the problem!" but once I fix it...No diff. Grr.
I'm using ResHack, trying to put a 96X96 pixel (multiple of 32) texture into the Great Dane file. But, each time I open the game and take out a GD in the AC, it crashes to desktop. What am I doing wrong??
; First argument is name of texture. ; Second argument is whether texture is single color (1) or multi-color (0) ; This texture list is used both here and in add ballz [Texture List] \Resource\Dogz\spacecow.bmp 1 \Resource\Dogz\spacecow.bmp 1 \Resource\Dogz\spacecow.bmp 1

The Texture list looks fine, but have you been saving the Bmp file as 8 Bit Colour, coz if it is any higher it will crash your game.

Yes, I changed all mym textures to bmp and 8 bit colour.
But actually, I just figured out my problem ^_^ I read somewhere that the file shouldn't be over 5kb...so I changed all the sizes to 32X32, and it works.
Thanks for taking the time to respond though!
