Out of curiousity what are you using to create this new rat breedfile? It will help me out a bit better on explaining.
Here is what I know using the Res Hacker:
Well, to make the baby look like.. well normal, you simply open the LNZ info for the baby and go down to the ball size thing. You adjust the ball sizes to be smaller until you are satisfied. I think they are sizes (but not entirely sure as I do not have my hex editor with me at this time). You should start by adjusting the head size, chest size, butt size, and belly size, as these are the largest in the pups. From there, you can adjust the eyes and the legs to you liking. (and for this breed, the toes, as they are "bubble-y" looking.)
Okay, as for the ears, I would say use Chihuahua ears unaltered only smaller, much smaller. What you have there is a good first attempt and I applaud you for this.
If you are using the visual petz workshop by Nicholas, then you may need to open up the file in reshacker and change the unruly brown mark on the face.
As for those feet, have you tried: a)making toe and foot sizes smaller? b)changed the projections (I dont know how, but I am sure it is possible) c)moved the toes around
That is all I can think of for the feet. and the rest of it. I think it is coming along nicely so far, especially for your first breed. I hop eyou will be adding variations to it and I look forward to seeing the progress on this. I think maybe a custom texture for the tail would be nice, or even on of the rougher looking game ones.

I'm using the dachshund breedfile for the base. I would like to use the chihuahua ears but I'm not sure how to take something out of one file and put it in another. I started using a chihuahua base but it didn't turn out good at all. Another thing is if I find out how to take one thing from one breed and put it in another I need to figure out the chihuahua whiskers on it.
I will go right now and do everything you said and will post new pictures up. Thanks so much
Also about the variations?? havn't figure those out yet figured I get the body shaped right first. If you know of any tutorials please let me know
Thanks so much

To put the Chihuahua ears on the dachshund file, just open up the chihuahua file in reshack, copy the "ears" section under

To get rid of the outlines, change the "outline type" to -1 When you say variations i think you mean body colour etc. If you do, go to ;colour info override (I'm guessing your using reshack, but if not this is the easiest way to start them off anyway) Under ;colour info override you need to add #3 #2 #1 ## for example, that would give you 3 different variations, but you must remember the ## bit at the end or it won't work. Leave one blank so that the colours on ballz info will show up. Then add the ball number, comma and the colour. Thats it
If your using pet workshop, start if off the same, then select make changes in overrides. use the variations tool to open the variation you want to work on, then change it as normal Hope that helped [glow=red,2,300]Whiskers[/glow] Go to the Chi file and find the ;whiskers section in addballz. paste them into addballz in the rat file, and find the numbers they are. Find the numbers of the ballz you want them to start at (the cheeks for example) Find the [whiskers] section in the chi file. Copy that info and paste it into the same place in the rat file. Then look at the start ball number and change it too the number you want them too start at. change the end ball numbers to the numbers you found for the whiskers in addballz Im not sure if that is very clear, just ask and i will try to explain better

It looks really cool so far!! My only suggestion would be to maybe make the irises a tiny bit smaller so they fit better in the eye.

They ar elooking great. Nice to see the baby rat looking thinner and that hind foot of theirs. Very nicely done so far. I dont know much about rats when it comes to variations though.
On note to the whiskers, make sure you have coppied all addballs relating to whiskers and all linez relating to whiskers.
Agian, for a first breedfile, it is looking excellent!

I can't think what could we wrong with the whiskers unless the numbers are wrong somewhere. You need to past this in addballz ;whiskas89 ;base x y z color otlnCol spckCol fuzz group outline ballsize bodyarea addGroup texture 15, 30,0,0 109 0 0 0 -1 -1 0 0 0 15, 35,15,0 109 0 0 0 -1 -1 0 0 0 39, -30,0,0 109 0 0 0 -1 -1 0 0 0 39, -35,15,0 109 0 0 0 -1 -1 0 0 And change the first number to the numbers of the balls the whiskers come from. Then count down untill you see what numbers these 6 new addballz are Then paste this under ;linez (leave a line first) [Whiskers] ;start, end, color 15, 89, 45 15, 90, 45 39, 91, 45 39, 92, 45 Change the first number to the numbers of the ballz the whiskers come from. Change the second number to the numbers of the addballz you just added. If it still doesn't work, could you paste here/send me the addballz section and the numbers of the ballz you want the whiskers to come from, then i can see exactly what you need to do
