Well you need to deal with the [Linez] section. If you want all of these on the same breed it would be quite tricky. You will need to recount the addballs and the linez section. Anyway, here is how to do wingz for dogz.
So, add to [Add Ball]:
;wingz 95 ;base x y z color otlnCol spckCol fuzz group outline ballsize bodyarea addGrp tex 18 9, -70, 42, 19 13 -1 0 0 -1 35 0 0 0 ;xtra R wing 42 -9, -70, 42, 19 13 -1 0 0 -1 35 0 0 0 ;Left Wing 97 95 35, 0, 0, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 27 0 0 95 47, -25, 27, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 45, -18, 50, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 45, -5, 70, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 33, 36, 57, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 20, 60, 46, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 15, 50, 25, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 17, 35, 5, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 35, 12, 17, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 37, 14, 32, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 95 40, 5, 45, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 ;Right Wing 108-118 96 -35, 0, 0, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 27 0 0 0 96 -47, -25, 27, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -45, -18, 50, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -45, -5, 70, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -33, 36, 57, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -20, 60, 46, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -15, 50, 25, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -17, 35, 5, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -35, 12, 17, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -37, 14, 32, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 96 -40, 5, 45, 144 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 25 0 0 0 ;filler balls 119-124 95 35, 0, 20, 4 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 95 37, -3, 30, 80 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 95 37, 0, 52, 5 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 96 -35, 0, 20, 4 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 96 -37, -3, 30, 80 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 96 -37, 0, 52, 5 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 21 0 0 0 ;xtra lef 125-130 95 55, 68, 125, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 95 60, 65, 90, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 125 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 126 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 95 60, 60, 70, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 129 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 ;xtra rig 131-136 96 -55, 68, 125, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 96 -60, 65, 90, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 131 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 132 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 96 -60, 60, 70, 89 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 15 0 0 0 135 0, -5, 20, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0 ;xtra 137 102 9, -5, 35, 88 -1 -1 -1 0 -1 5 0 0 0

Two words Linez and Addballz. You will need to recount them... Use this tut to teach you how to recount them How To Use The Copy/Pasties that require editing of the Linez section =========================== Explanation =========================== Well, each of the add ballz has it's own add ball number. Just like in the Ballz Info section, where the first ball listed is ball number 0, then it goes 1 2 3, etc. The numbers are continued after this list in the animator's addballz section. For example, in the dali, you would see something like this: ; ### From here down are animator's addballz 77. ;tongue77 63, 0, 0, -2, 75, 0, 0, -1, -1, -1, -1, 0, 0, 1, 63 ;cheeks 78 51, 17, -29, 28, 19, 0, 0, 1, 0, -2, 47, 0, 0, 1 51, -17, -29, 28, 19, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 47, 0, 0, 1 ;mouth corners 80 51, 8, -3, 5, 19, 0, 0, 0, 0, -2, 22, 0, 0, 1 51, -8, -3, 5, 19, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 22, 0, 0, 1 notice how each of the editor's comments (the lines starting with ; and tell you what the stuff is) ends with a number? like "tongue77" this means that the add ball listed under that is number 77. then the cheeks start with number 78, then 79. Mouth corners are add ball numbers 80 and 81. Get it? Simple as pie it's just your basic counting Now here's where it's important, down in the Linez. Near the top of the Linez section, you will see this: ; -1 mean use the associated ball color ; Only the first three fields need to be specefied ;srt end fuzz col lfCol rtCol sThck eThick [Linez] srt and end mean the first two numbers in the rows are the starting ball (or add ball) and the ending ball (or add ball) So, when you add in new add ballz, you need to count down the list and find out what ball numbers they are so that you can adjust the srt and end numbers down in Linez for the Linez part you add in to be the correct numbers. ------------------- Here is an example Let's say I added in just one ear ball, and it came right after the mouth corners (add ballz 80 and 81 as we counted out before). ; ears 83 4, -15, -9, 15, 95, 0, 0, 1, 3, -1, 18, 0, 0, 0 Now I won't explain how the add ballz works in this, that requires yet another tutorial, BUT, this would be add ball number 82 (because it comes after 81 ya see . But wait a minute, it said "ears 83"! well you can't always trust the comment to be right when you move things from one breed file to another, because each breed has it's own add ballz in their own order. Make SURE to figure out the new numbers, and if you'd like, you can change the editors comment to help you keep track. So, let's say I pasted this in from my copy/pastie into the Linez section: 83, 4, -1, -1, 244, 244, 100, 100 5, 83, -1, -1, 244, 244, 100, 100 Look at the first two columns. See the 83's? In the previous file, that would be the correct numbers, but since we counted down the addballz list and figured out that the new add ball number is 82, both 83s would now be 82s. Like this: 82, 4, -1, -1, 244, 244, 100, 100 5, 82, -1, -1, 244, 244, 100, 100 ------------------ Well I hope I haven't confused you, it's a very simple thing to do, but not the easiest to explain. If you don't understand, try reading it a couple of times, and even try it (keep a backup file incase you mess up) to get it figured out. Have fun with the copy/pasties! ~Kiwi @ The Petz Source
