Okay...I'm at my wits end...this has never happened to me before so I don't know what is causing it... I've been working on a new breed...The OW is fine. For the Non-OW I copy the original Tabby.cat, open in in Hex workshop, change the name, offset, and ac bmp, then save it as Angelicat.cat. This shows up just as you would expect with no problems... In order to fit in the .lnz files, I need to use ResHacker (it's a transformer). After I do this, I save up, not needing to change the name, since I already did that in Hex Workshop. Now, when I open my game again, this happens: See? It still shows up, but missing the breedname... I can't, for the life of me, find the problem, but I'm not prepared to put the breed up for download with this 'fault' if it can be fixed. I didn't have this problem with the Gelert or the Dracatula, and I created those using the exact same method. If anyone could please help, I'd be most grateful. Oh, and I tried 'Save As' and retyping the breedname also...

Oh, thank you so much SleepyCat for going to the trouble...My memory is terrible, so I had no idea it'd been queried before... As it happens, this did fix my breed. MiniByte gave me the same solution over on VLF. It's pretty weird, since when I did the Petz 3 conversion, there were no problems at all... Thanks again, I'll be sure to mention you in the Read_Me.txt

my memory is also terrible but little things can make a memory resurface sometimes in a moment of need I tend to stop at VLF on my way here each day and I was happy to see Minibyte was able to help you it's quieter there so I rarely post but then I don't post here as much as I could either and you really don't have to mention me in the read me, all I did was check page 12 for that post

odd...someone asked me that question about my breeds recently (and at the time I totally forgot about my "Reshacked" breeds) well my halfie baby chilly breed has variations for: fur color whiskers toes fuzz halfies eye color texture and if you times the variations all up, you can get 18,000 different cats from the file and thats what I could fit in the "original" chinchilla Lnz size. I try to keep track of what I add to my new breeds these days but sometimes I forget I added something before I get it written down *has a bunch of those big "yellow paper" office type notepads on her desk* I'm sure some of my "Reshacked" breeds have even more variations in them, like maybe the above plus different spots and whatnot I mention my breed(s) because I really don't know of anyone but me (and now you to) adding so many different variations to a breed, of course thats changing now with more people learning to use Reshacker and also learning how to do variations. heh it took me forever to type this up my brain isn't working at the moment (looooong busy day on only 2 hours of sleep...not a good idea when you have CFS)
