Carolyn has one for this, here, look for the one called Hexing Petz 4 breedz . You'll find it in part 1... [Edit]: Apologies, Carolyn. Wasn't thinking...

Jas, thanks for pointing Puma Girl to my tutorial, and I hope it helps her. Just one thing, though -- it's considered quite an internet no-no to hot-link to files. I know my tutorials page is a mess, but it would be much better to give the link to the page and then say whereabouts on the page to look
Cheers
Carolyn

LOL, no problem -- and as I said, I did appreciate the thought! I really must get my tutorials pages sorted out sometime, but it's very difficult, I keep wanting to put up new stuff and it all sort of grows... By the way, if you ever have trouble downloading from my main petzwarehouse site, I have all the tutorials available also from my "partial mirror" at www.stevehornsc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/carolyn/petzwarehouse/tutorials.htm Blueyonder Cheers! Carolyn P.S. how do you make the links "hidden" as with a normal clickable hyperlink, on this forum? I only ever seem to be able to get it to show the whole url...

No problem...
To get the hidden link thing, instead of clicking the icon an typing the link in between the {url} and {/url}, type the word you wna to appear there, and put an = sign followed by the actual link inside the first lot of brackets, like this:
{url=http://www.somelink.com}Tada!{/url}
N.B.: { and } should be square brackets [ and ], but if I typed them I couldn't show it!!

Thanks!!! Will the petz 4 tutorial also work with petz 5? Yes, I say somewhere on that mess of pages that hexing for Petz 5 is basically the same as for Petz 4. For breedfiles the only real differences are that the furfiles are not in the original .dog or .cat files but that sometimes there are two adoption-centre bitmaps, and that the on-screen tips are not in the .dog or .cat files either (all you can do with those is make them blank). Cheers Carolyn
