That's _LNZ_, P.F.Magic's mnemonic for "Linez", not INZ. I don't know why it bugs me when people get that wrong, but it does. I think maybe it's because it usually shows that they haven't understood a word of what I've written. In your case it sounds as if you haven't understood what Sleepycat said, and she was trying to make what I say clearer for people, so now here I sit and despair gently to myself... Oh well, rant over, sorry -- I've not had breakfast yet Take a look at my "for easy-editing" packages at my site, and you'll see that the .LNZ file is the core of what a hexer uses to make a new breedfile, and it is situated within the .dog or .cat files. If you look at the "Variation-stuffed Orange shorthair adult lnz" which is in the easy-edit copy/pasties on my tutorial page, you'll see exactly what a .lnz file is; it's actually just a text file which has the necessary keywords and numbers for the game to make the breed's shape and colour etc. If you download my "For LNZ-files (and easy-editing)" files, you won't have to figure out for yourself where the .lnz file is because I've taken it out of the breedz for you. Just read the instructions carefully before you install them. Hope that helps Carolyn
