I got a problem.
Last night I was hexing the original Dali file. I didn't change much- just colors and the ear size, and I removed the spots. I closed the game when I went down for dinner. When I came back and opened the game the Dali file was gone! It was clearly in my Dogz folder. I was mad- but I decided to start over. I took my backup copy and did the same thing. I closed the game and went to bed. Now, this morning, when I come back to finish it- it's gone again! This is really annoying- does anyone know why it's happening?

So the file is still in Resource/Dogz but doesn't show up in the game? Sounds like you're corrupting it somehow. Do each thing a step at a time, so Change colours, save, check breed, ect. If it keeps happening after you remove the spots, maybe you're removing some important things as well?

this is works for me (if you have reshack) - copy everything then delete it from the box (but you still have it copied), then compile and save the file. then paste it all back (make sure it starts at the very top) and compile and save again. it should show up now when you go into dogz. hope that works for you too

yeah freeway023's way should work, if it does not work, then also using reshack - Select all (in tha adults area where you were hexing) - Copy all the information - Delete the file (keep everything copied) - Open up the Dalmatian_original.dog file - select all the info in the Adult section like where you will have been doing the hexing - paste the information in - save as Dalmatian.dog (This way always works) Yeah i know its vertually the same but its putting it into a new file lol
Hope this helps
