oooo ahhh
Why I like Reshack
Mainly because it sets everything out in columns with titles, so I know exactly what I'm changing. I didn't ever have a clue what I was changing when I tried to learn with hex workshop and axe and others like that. Also because reshack is free.
You need a color chart so you know what color number you need.
ravenklaw.com/rpp/colors.htm
Sorry for not clarifying that, hope this makes it better.
1. Open reshacker and the breed file you want. (backups are generally a good idea)
2. Find Ballz Info
3. For starters change only the numbers in the column frathest left, the first column. This will change the body part colors.
4. It's a good idea to leave any 3 digit numbers alone, these are the eye colors (the white part) If you want to change the iris then go to the 2nd column of these rows.
5. Compile the script, hit save and open up petz.
6. Ah ha! My pet still has some...color issues...now you have to go back and fix the addballs. I will add information on changing the addballs by the end of the weekend. So you have time to play around with this for a bit...
Changing the Addballz
1. Search for the addballz section. [Add Ball]
2. Only change the numbers in the columns under the words "From here down are the animator's add ballz"
3. Column 1 is the number of the ball corresponding to the body part you changed in the ballz info section.
4. If the ballz info section this number also corrseponds to the number infront of the body part. To the left.
5. 5th Number changes the colors. AN:MAKE SURE THESE COLOR NUMBERS ARE THE SAME AS THE NUMBERS YOU TYPED IN FOR THE BALLZ INFO!!!
6. Compile script and check out ur pet.
7. Then open again and this time search for color override. Delete the info in color override and outline override. Now your new pet will be an OWBF and have no variation.
There are alot of great places for teaching flaring and such, I can't post their tutorials because ha, they're not mine. So I have a few to suggest I'll add some links later on.
Post any questions you might still have.
