i have been waiting for more than 48 hours for my activation code for this forum, and i haven't received it yet! you guys are just plain rude! you have over 20 mods, and many other creators of the site, but you can't send an activation code! this is terrible service, and guess what? my username was taken so i can't even TRY to log in on it.

It depends what your e-mail is. Do you have g-mail?
the mods dont send the acctivation code. This forum is a good forum. All of the mods work very hard to do their job. NONE of the mods are mean or rude and neither is RQ.

Mods do not send activation codes; they are sent automatically once you register. If you haven't received it, it could mean that your e-mail account blocked it. I'd recommend hotmail. If you are waiting for your account to get approved, it usually takes 24 to 48 hours. There is no guarantee, however, and getting upset and demanding service is not going to help you in any way... EDIT: How was your username taken? If you mean that someone had already registered under the name you wanted, well just pick another (as you already did). And where are you getting the idea of there being over20 mods? If you are misti/misty, you lied about when you registered and broke the rule of one account per person....

First off, you have not created your account 48 hours ago, but just 3-4 hours ago.
Second, you created 2 separate accounts, which is against the rules.
Third, we do NOT offer any SERVICE here. Being a member of this forum is NOT a right but a privilege. We are under no obligation to accept your membership whatsoever.
Also, if you'd bothered reading the rules, you would have seen that registering with and AOL or AIM email address does not work, as AOL (which owns AIM) blocks the validation email anyway.
In conclusion, we don't need another lying, short-fused, rule-breaking member around here: account denied.
