Ok. I was wondering is it was possible to get rid of warnings. I have one, and it makes me look like some super bad person. I didn't even know I was doing something wrong There are probably others with warnings that have this question too. Thanks.

Warnings can occur for different reasons, and are applied by moderators who keep the boards ticking over. It might have been you didn't read the rules for a particular board (always do so to avoid complaints from other members) or that you accidently 'smited' someone, meaning to exalt them (smiting is bad and exalting is good, if someone's rude to you for example you can smite them.) If you smite a mod or the admin, you immidiately get smited by 5 points and get a warning, because basically they're here to work and they put in time and effort to this place. It might have been you came across as a bit rude or something on a post. Without knowing exactly what it is you've done, I can't really say why you've been warned, but I'd highly reccomend reading all rules on a board before making posts. Good luck

Heh, well a mod has to remove it for you, which they'll do when a) they have the time, and b) when whatever you've done wrong is fixed.

Warnings are removed after a certain period of time has passed (appropriate for the deed!) Generally, they are removed gradually, (for example, 5% by 5%.)
Having a warning bar doesn't really make you a 'super-bad-person'; the system really is impartial. Now that new, stricter rules have been introduced, a lot more people will be having warnings: unfortuately, it seems to be the only way to get the message across for people to stop taking advantage of moderators and disobeying the rules.

An explanation for each warning is added to a member's profile, along with the date the warning was issued (these remain in a member's profile.) DewStream, if you go look at your profile, you will find the explanation in the "Account Notes" at the bottom of your profile. Two different warnings were issued in this case, both for not following the rules. Make sure to read the rules carefully in the future ( main rules, and those stickied to each board), and the warning bar will progressively be decreased and then removed

Yah, I got it for having a long list in my siggy. But I've seen others with long lists longer then mine without warnings. But they were mods, and I guess they don't count (I'm not dissing mods! I luv them) And also, I forgot to read the adoption rules, and I posted my webbie that had adoptions on it in the adoption board. I'm just a bit confuzed, because I have a lot of different rules on my old forum.
(Your not being nosy! I'll tell what I did wrong)

But I've seen others with long lists longer then mine without warnings. Other people with long signatures will soon get a warning in their profiles too if they don't change their sigs before we get to them... We're only a few people, and there are a lot of members. The signature rules are the same for everyone. I haven't seen any mods with super-long signatures though.
