Just a heads up about some changes we made recently, which you may not have noticed yet.
We updated the guidelines pinned in all show boards to be more specific about when shows should be judged, how they can be maintained, and what we do with shows that linger for too long (either full or not).
We would also like to ask that, from now on, you either tag or like the posts of all entrants in your shows when you're done judging them, so people can receive a notification and find them more easily. I know this may take a little bit of getting used to (I have forgotten a few times myself and had to go back and check).
Thank you!
I've highlighted the main things what were updated in the guidelines below.
Dogz Pose Shows - Show Boards Guidelines (Upd. March 18, 2022)
Catz Pose Shows - Show Boards Guidelines (Upd. March 18, 2022)
Non-Pose & Other Petz Shows - Show Boards Guidelines (Upd. March 18, 2022)
Competition Arena - Competitions Board Guidelines (Upd. March 25, 2022)
Judging Your Show:
- Please judge your show in a timely manner. The sooner, the better, but if possible within one week of the show being full. If you don't, we may PM you, or someone else will be asked to judge it.
- Be fair when judging a show! Don't show any favoritism towards your friends, or for a particular type of petz when judging a pose show.
- Type in the show results in your original post and edit its subject to add (JUDGED) at the end of the subject line. Also, please post the results in a reply message in your thread.
- To make it easier for people who entered, please either tag them or like their post (click the thumbup icon) in your show when posting the results, so they receive a notification.
Maintaining Your Show:
- Although you don't have to, you may also want to periodically check and add the current number of entries in your subject, for instance (5/10) to indicate you have 5 entries out of 10 so far.
- If your show is full and you don't have time to judge it right away, you can write (FULL) at the end of the subject line.
- Keep an eye on your show as it's filling up to make sure all entries are visible and match the show requirements.
- We don't delete shows with entries here. This means that any show with at least 2 entries that lingers for too long will eventually be judged (from the bottom up), regardless of its original entry requirements. If you don't judge it, someone else will be chosen to do so. A show will only be deleted if it's still empty after a long period of time.
