I've made a separate thread for this, rather than put it in the Random Pix topic, because it's going to be quite long.
So I decided to let my recent hexie show-offs from StarFragments, midnightwolf and Arie meet each other. Spook and Cotton were the first pair out, since I had them out last time. As you can see, they have not suddenly become friends overnight (despite Cotton sacrificing himself by vanishing the horrible nasty treat I was forcing poor Spook to look at )
So Spook went in, and Cotton was on his own for a bit, which he didn't seem to mind. He was quite happy to play and pose!
Turns out he's not interested in catnip aside from it apparently makes a great toy - he kept taking it onto the armchair in the toy closet and throwing it
First I brought out Difficulty. Cotton didn't hate him, at least, but he didn't like him either. They just completely ignored each other. Then I brought out Skip. He was absolutely full of beans, and started chasing his tail before even greeting Cotton, who seemed a bit bemused as Skip went round in circles!
But then Skip suddenly realised that, hey, he wasn't alone . . . and there was another petz getting his fusses!
So he sent Cotton haring about in terror, until I gave in and put Cotton away, at which point Skip sat down and gave me a cheeky little wave:
Decided to wear him out a bit before bringing out the others, so threw the frisbee and the boomerang for him. Apparently his tricks don't extend to frisbee-catching, as he missed every time
Wearing him out seemed to work. Either that, or it was just Cotton he really didn't like, because he was fine when I brought Spook back out. I also discovered that he's a bit of a ham when the camera's going. As you can see, I was trying to get pics of Spook when he was catnipped, but Skip was in the way, and apparently thought I was taking pics of him
Spook didn't act too weird, the catnip just seemed to make him a bit drunk and fall over a lot.
But Skip thought it looked like fun, and had some as well:
Then I decided to put Skip in the basket to make it easier to get more pics of Spook . . . and Spook actually went and batted the basket - and Skip - around! I just about died laughing.
Brought Difficulty out again, and again, they all seemed to mostly ignore each other. But I think Skip was getting tired, and Spook was still a little catnipped.
Can't wait to see what they all do tomorrow! Love all these guys
