Hi again! Sorry I disappeared for a bit. Life just got really crazy for a minute. We found a house to rent. And was busy packing and getting everything ready for that on top of everything else in my life (I work 50 hours a week, my husband works full time midnights, he's a full time college student, and we have a 6 year old in kindergarten and a 2 year old in preschool...so...I'm usually kinda busy anyway). SO I took 4 days off to move, but at 5am of my first day off, my boss called me and I told me I had to come in because she was sick. She's the store manager, and I'm the assistant manager...so it wasn't really a choice. Long story short(er), she ended up on medical leave and I worked 70 hours a week for about 3 weeks while slowly moving in (we moved everything in in one day but then unpacking has been in our very limited free time). But now things are finally settling down and I hope to become more active again!
And because I think, on a subconscious level, I love to be overwhelmed and constantly feel challenged....we also got a puppy. We already had a beautiful red nose pit bull named Crowley, but now we have TWO pit bulls (omfg I love pit bulls), and her name is Cupcake! Technically, she's Cupcake Sprinkles because my oldest son decided she needed a middle name. But it's a mouthful, so Cupcake for short...or as my 2 year old says, Cuppy.
Now for picture spam.
Cupcake laying under my bed. It's one of her favorite spots to chill out.
This is Mr. Crowley, having his daily bone.
And this is Cupcake chewing on a stuffed animal. Eventually, the stuffed animal's inards ended up all over my house. I decided no more stuffed animals.
This was taken a few days before we got Cupcake. Here is my handsome man, just chillin' in all his glory.
THESE TWO ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER. My heart can't take it.
I know it's a bit blurry but this was literally within the first 10 minutes of bringing Cupcake home and I just so desperately wanted to get to taking pictures of my lovely pibbles. Pibbles make me feel so full of love and joy. haha
This is my oldest son, Nathan, cuddling with Cupcake.
This is my youngest son, Roman, cuddling with Cupcake. Before bed tonight, we were watching The Incredibles. Cupcake just jumped up and sat in Roman's lap and he hugged her and I begged him not to move until I got my camera and it worked.
Also Roman, playing with Cupcake.
This was the first night I brought her home. She fell asleep on my lap and it was really cute.
Also the first night I brought her home. Since my husband works midnights, I sleep alone 5 out of 7 nights of the week. The dogs always sleep in our bed with us anyway, but this being the first night she was here, I wasn't sure how it was going to go. But they immediately cuddled up together as soon as we got in bed. Had to take a picture.
Ok, so that aside...HI! Again.
