I started this project a while ago. It randomly started from a Scottie mix I got from PUGS with a sheepy tail, dali body, and dali legs. For some reason, no matter who I bred him to, he produced dali body/legged pups with dachshund heads! I ended up with so many that I decided to attempt to refine them. Some had dane or scottie ears (I don't know the difference lol) and some had dachshund ears. Most had sheepy feet and many trotted, two traits I couldn't stand.
Unable to rid the generations of sheepy feet and trotting, I foldered the project. Until today. Today I have created a wondrous new selective breed, the first I've created in P4, I believe (all others were in P5). Today, I've created...

The as-of-yet-unnamed-farm-dog-type breed! Woot woot!

So yeah... no name for the breed yet and my "foundation dogs" above are also unnamed. I feel like I want a theme, but I'm too tired to decide on it right now. XD
Traits of this breed include a sheepy tail, dali body, dali legs, dali feet, dach head, and dach ears... except for a few chi eared individuals, lol. I think the chi ears showed up when I bred to a dali mix in order to rid the breed of sheepy feet... which continued to show up and still might for some reason, even though there's none in several generations, lol. Yay for annoying recessive/hidden traits! Either way, the chi ears are kinda adorable so one of my foundation stock has it because I couldn't get the color I wanted without them. She may not be bred, though, and the rest don't carry chi ears as far as I know.
As far as color/coat goes, halfie markings are a defining trait of this herding breed and the most common color is black, with only a few tan individuals as of right now. The most common base color is cream, but lots of careful breeding has resulted in several variations such as brown, blue, and dirt. White patches are common, but pups can be born without them. Eyelids are generally black, though I am working on a line of selfie ones. Though any color is possible in this breed, the most common eye color is a bright blue that almost looks white. Careful breeding is being done to darken the eyes ever so slightly so their iris is more distinguishable. Green eyes are most common in dark brown dogs, but show up in dogs related to dark brown ones as well.
My foundation dogs are going to be shown and not bred until they reach a satisfactory amount of points, but if you want an as-of-yet-unnamed-farm-dog-type, I may be either putting a few adoptions for my "rejects" or selling them on PUGS. Let me know if you like this breed enough to want one and what you think I should do.
Also name suggestions are welcome, lol. This was meant to be a herding breed of some type so I was thinking something related to collies or shepherds, but I don't know.
