Well I recently had time to open petz again and found this guy. I believe he was part of some idea I had about christmas ages ago but I never had time to finish him properly. I know he's pretty simple, I haven't done enough hexing to be comfortable with anything drastic. Firstly if anyone had some constructive criticism or suggestions I would be very grateful. Its a no grow and I'm in the process of fixing up the eyelids. For example the nose is weird and I'm working on it now. Secondly if I was to fix this up a bit more would anyone be interested if I put a couple up for adoption?

I personally think this is cute but would be even cuter if the eyes were made smaller, and perhaps maybe the body extended OR the legs shortened (you do this in the beginning part of LNZ rather than on PWS)!

Aww, he's cute. Resembles a little teddy bear almost. I'm not sure if that's kind of the look you were going for, but that certainly would be adorable. A plush texture, maybe add some "stitches" in a few places or "patches", like on a patched up stuffed animal. Just a suggestion, you made adorableness either way. I would consider snatching one. ^^

OMG I love Icciotto's idea for a plush with patches. It'd look great with shorter legs too If you did make it look more like a stuffed animal, maybe some button eyes too?

All these suggestions sound adorable! I love the idea of button eyes and patches, plushness, and stitches! It's an adorable hex and you could go so many ways with it.

Ok so I made some of the changes you guys suggested, eyes, plush texture which was a huge improvement. However I'm having some trouble with shortening the legs. I understand that I need to change the numbers under Leg Extension in LNZ but which number do I change? I played around with them for a bit but couldn't see any difference, maybe I didn't change them enough? Also i changed it slightly, it now grows bigger but doesn't change in shape. I also added a heart because its almost valentines day, it didn't turn out fantastically. I'm not sure how well I will be able to get patches working on this texture. but I shall see. Edit: Managed to fix the legs.

Thanks everyone. Trying to add the patches is a bit of a pain, I know how to texture paint balls but without the right texture for them they always end up looking off. I'm going to see if I can find/make (doubtful) a good texture for them which would make a huge improvement. If not I'm reasonably happy with it for now as is. Thanks for your suggestions and feedback everyone it really helped.

by smaller eyes, I also meant the pupils! in petz that's labelled, confusingly, 'iris'. just so that you can still see the whites of the eyes. but looking cute with the update!

Yes, that was one of the things I'm still trying to fix. I'm still pretty knew to all this hexing stuff, how do I change the iris size? Nothing i tried seemed to make any difference.

are you using PWS? if you open it up there, click the Ballz tab, then highlight both the 'iris' balls. click the 'change ball size' button and change the option to decrease by 1, then at the bottom of the Ballz tab bit on the right, you should see 'apply' or something like that. I would just click once, then seen if it's made a difference in-game, then exit and repeat until the eyes look right!

oh yes you can do it in LNZ too but it's probably easier to do in PWS if you've just started learning! that is a massive improvement, really adorable
