Do Petz A profiles only work if you start up Petz as an administrator?

Shouldn't make a difference, I imagine. You enable it in-game anyway. I can only see issues coming up if you've installed Petz in Program Files as opposed to My Documents.

Yes..... it is I suppose, its actually in "Program Files (x86)" whatever that means.... and right now profiles wont work without using admin..... how can I fix this? Hopefully without un-installing and re-installing if possible....

I always had a shortcut to the game on desktop. where you can just double click on it and it will the petz game with load. If you go explorer and go the the petz whatever game you have there will be a picture of a paw thats has the # of whatever game you have and you can move it to your desktop and like I said the game should load. I have petz A and I've never had problems with it oppening the game from desktop. Also I find it easier that way its right than going to explorer or the start menu trying Ubi Soft to load the game.

I do have a shortcut of petz on my desktop and that is how I open it, I think what Artimis is saying is that all the petz files (adopted petz, petz pics, returned petz) are in program files vs. my documents..... Artie, is there a way to just drag and drop my pets folder into My Documents and have PetzA profiles work???

Yeah, no, not unless it's not officially installed. You'll royally screw your computer up (my aunt did something similar where she deleted the folder of a game, oh my god I couldn't uninstall it).
But there are countless threads discussing the problems and why installing in My Documents is easier than Program Files. Not really much reasoning other than that. Program Files messes with files, folders, permissions, etc and it's just an unnecessary hassle.
