I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels this way, or if I'm just being cranky about the subject, but does anyone else get kind of bothered by 'hoarding' of petz? For example, when it seems that you find the same people adopting at every thread & it's kind of as if they adopt from /everything/ just look for their favorite pet in each thread and adopt the dickens out of everything? tehe.
I'm not completely bothered by it, but I feel that having so many petz might start being rediculous after a while and it's shame that not all of them are played with, etc.. I mean, it's a shame that so many petz just sit in a folder and collect dust.
I have to work on/am beginning on working on an MPA myself and really need to clean some petz out. I'll admit that I used to have a really bad adopting habit lol. I especially have a hard time resisting calicos for some reason. I always have pretty good intensions when adopting petz, and have plans for them, but it's hard to keep up with what you'd like to do when you have so many petz, and it makes adopting petz out to people with applications difficult because it seems that it happens a lot and some petz just sort of sit? And in some ways, it makes me want to breed freebies less and less because it doesn't seem there is much point to it other than to give some people breeding stock/dust collectors. - Don't get me wrong, it's not that everyone does this, and I'm not creating this to single anyone out - but I just think it happens a lot? And at the amount of petz I have currently, and love for breeding now and then - I'd never be able to be one of those people with about 10 petz that they play with frequently and get to know them ALL super well. Each pet has different things I enjoy about them and I could write little things on my crew site for each when it's completely finished, but I will never know all the petz I own the way I know Larka, or some of my other favorites. I sort of admire those who are able to hold only about 10 petz, honestly. But I'd never be able to narrow my bunch down to that size myself. hah.
I dunno if anyone will feel the need to comment, or if this is really even worth posting, but it's been on my mind. .__.
