For those who use Firefox, have you upgraded to version 3 yet? I know the Firefox 3 betas have been out a long time, but it was officially released only recently. Now Firefox 2 is no longer being supported and won't be upgraded anymore. I'm wondering how many of you have already upgraded to the new version 3 and what you think about it. I want to upgrade, but... what holds me back is compatibility (lack of) with my installed extensions. Luckily, the Firefox upgrade window tells me that only ONE of all my extensions is not compatible with Firefox 3... Unfortunately, and of course, it's THE ONE extension I cannot leave without! So I still haven't upgraded... but I want to... but I don't... What about you?

May I ask which mod? There may be replacements.

May I ask which mod? There may be replacements. Yes, it's the " FLST" extension (Focus Last Selected Tab). It has 2 main functions I can't live without: 1) Brings focus to the last selected tab when closing the active tab, and 2) Click on the active tab to flip to the last active (tabflipping). The author's web page says the tabflipping function won't work on Firefox 3, even though they tried to make it work... I saw another addon called " TabMix Plus" mentioned in the FLST comments, but it might be a little overkill for me -- I mostly want that tabflipping function, and the focus on last selected tab when closing one would be nice too. I'm willing to try other extensions if anyone recommends them though. I love extensions, and I have to watch myself not to install too many

No, I prefer Internet Explorer 7 or 8. The only thing I EVER use on Firefox is spell chack, and even then, rarely as I make few errors unless I'm typing fast or I have some magical reason to not pay attention.

So far I haven't been asked to upgrade, but I may look into it. I always feel naked on the uni's computers with IE. >>

I use Firefox, but as I am not very computer savvy and usually let my bf worry about the updatings and everything, I have no idea what version of Firefox I'm using.
