So....I'm trying to make myself a layout for my new petz site!
Okay, okay... don't laugh at my pitiful drawing and design, I knoooww... xD
Here's a link to the image (you'll know what kind of coding I'm talking about once you see it) : i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww107/MothWingCattery/Images/BlueBackgroundMWC.png
So, I was wondering if (in order to make the options like About and Adoptions clickable) I cut that up into individual, clickable images and post it so that it looks like a whole, complete image?
I'm probably not making any sense. xP Buuuut I'm not sure cause I'm so unfamiliar with HTML. Any advice would be great! thanks ^_^

Yuppers, that's whatcha do. ^_^ but it might be a bit/very hard if you've never used HTML before.

Thanks!
I think I can figure it out alright. While I do get confused/frustrated a lot, I can read through HTML and I've used it lightly throughout the years. This is my first attempt at putting together an actual layout with frames, but I'm familiar with using "link" buttons, backgrounds, banners, text etc etc ^^

You need to make it into an imagemap. It's really not all that difficult, promise. I use an online tool, such as this one (it's just faster)... www.image-maps.com/I don't think that's the exact site I used to do my site, but it's generally the same thing. This page also explains how to do it by hand. www.angelfire.com/ny5/consigliere/littletips5.html Good to read through it just to get the gist of it. I hope that helps! EDIT: Also, I'm not an expert by any means, but I'd be more than happy to help you with anything I can should you get stuck again. Just PM me or MSN, or morse code or paper air planes.
