Do you believe there is (or has been) other life out there in the Universe, or not? If so, what kind? What's your point of view on the question, and why do you believe that?

Hmm, I said other. There are soooo many other galaxies out there that, in my mind, there HAS to be some kind of life form out there somewhere in that giant space. Idk if it would be microbial or intelligent, but I believe there has to be at least something out there. :]

Yes. Out of all the stars in our galaxy, and all the planets orbiting those stars, and all the stars in all the other galaxies, there must be life out there somewhere. I believe that there must be sentient life out there too, maybe no where near us, but they have to be out there somewhere.

Yes, definately. It would probably be very unlikely that Earth is the only planet in the universe with any kind of life forms. I personally think that it is possible that there are advanced, non-carbon based lifeforms that survive on other substances than water.

To quote Bill Waterson: "Scientific proof that intelligent life exists in outer space is they haven't come to our planet."
While I do love that quote, I don't really believe one way or the other. Like with most things, I take a "let's see and find out" attitude about it.

Yes, i do believe there is life beyond just Earth.
However, I don't believe they look like anything we've ever seen before.

Oh totall, I bet they look nothing like we imagine them, but there's gotta be something out there. Space is infinite. There's millions of galaxies, and the only one we know anything about it ours. I bet 'cha there's tons of things and creatures out there, intelligent and not, that we just don't know anything about. I think it's an interesting topic, with endless possibilities :]

^ Actually we know quite a bit of other galaxies. n___n; I said, yep, because there is absolutely tonnes of stuff out there. Even though Earth is lucky because it has the atmosphere, temperature and placement for it to hold life, I'm sure somewhere there is something. It's a very interesting topic.
And don't get me started on parellel universes, heh.

I think it would be incredibly narrow minded to assume we're the only life forms out there. While I am sure other life does exist, I don't think other life forms would be anything like human beings, or even the animals we share our planet with. They would be totally, totally different things altogether, that we can't even begin to imagine.
