Its coming to that all important time of year for me and I'm sure many others - Exam time! Wheter it be GCSE's, A levels or any other qualifications and so I'd thought i'd ask how we all revise. Not a very exciting topic, I know, but may be useful to hear how people best revise. Personally I find doing past papers and speaking/explaining it out loud quite useful.

I'm doing a degree and have 3 exams coming up, I'm so scared! I've got to practise my shorthand, revise Media Histories and revise Reporter Law. Funnily enough, shorthand (which is essentially a second language) is the easiest out of the three. =/

Reading extensively on the subject over and over again, then doing mock exams and having someone else "mark" them. Make several mock exams that have different questions and do them, to see where your weak points are then read on those points.

My GCSEs are next week, had one of my Religious Studies exams yesterday, but yeah...I just keep reading information over and over again and usually speaking it aloud helps. I also use revision sites on the internet that my school pays for which helps a lot Good luck with your exams everyone!

I normally don't study. If I study, I do bad. I figured out the reason for this recently: I only study when I think I'm going to fail, and because of this it makes me stressed out and prevents me from thinking clearly, where if I don't study, I am more relaxed and have more thoughts that I don't need to study because it's easy. I'm kinda wierd like that.
