:-(
i didn't mean it like that. like different people have different thoughts on what is enough for them. and like i spend an equal amount of time with ALL of my animals. so like it just depends on what is enough for some people. like 15 animals might not seem like a lot to someone who lives on a farm or something who has to go out there and take care of them, etc.

I think you guys misinterpreted what Ali was saying personally...
I LOVE animals so much and I would live in a Zoo if I could lol. So to me you can never have enough animals because they enrich your life so much and it's really not impossible to love say 10 animals at once and equally.
HOWEVER you do have to take in to account where you live and how much money you have to be able to support however many animals. I'm moving into a townhouse soon and together my boyfriend and I have 3 cats which is perfectly fine and we can easily financially support them...even spoil the crap out of them (which we do lol).
But if you live on a farm (which Ali did) obviously your going to be able to accomodate more animals and 15 animals isn't going to seem like a lot to you. But yano in a tiny one bedroom apartment for example you shouldn't have like 10 cats... (that's a given though)
So I guess what I am trying to say is that if you can accomodate and afford a lot of animals -and you have a passion for them-....then why not??

I would personally set my limit at 2 cats. I know plenty of people can handle more, but I don't honestly believe I could, since I would also like to get a dog.
When I had 5 rats all at once, that was slight pandemonium - I can only imagine having that many cats! It takes a stronger person than I to handle that many animals at once lol.

I think two is a good number. I have a friend who has three cats and a dog. He hates them all. His mom got two cats who multiplied into four. Over the summer one of the kittens got stuck in a tree-hole and died. Personally, I would only get one, two max, despite that I absolutely LOVE cats and can come across to some as a crazy-cat-person.
