I'm trying to figure out how to hex but don't understand it. I'm looking for an easy to use hexing tool. If you can help me or are willing to teach me please post it here.

I use hexplorer, but you might find it easier using reshack There is a sticky in this board with links to good editors and tutorials

Once again you're best bet is too look for a decent tutorial such as Carolyn's in the sticky. Hexing .pet files is a lengthy and hard to explain process. I don't think anyone on this forum would be able to go into the amount of detail needed in a post alone....

You don't need to hex pet files: Just get LNZ Pro from Carolyn's website. It lets you edit pet files and breed files with no hexing.

File->Open. Pick your pet. From there it is exactly the same as reshacker. Click the [+] next to "LNZ" and pick either the child or the adult to edit. Follow tutorials which tell you how to understand and edit LNZ sections.
