I have been hexing this Dragon breed and I would like to make the puppies look like eggs until they are at 50 on the brainslider. Is there a way to do it? I use ResHacker and PetzWorkshop. These are for Dogz 5.

YUP! You are in luck, but umm.. they will look odd as they are growing up. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO DO THIS WAY # 1, EGG WILL HAVE DRAGON SCALE TEXTURETo do this, in the baby's LNZ information, in the ball size override I believe, you put all ball sizes to -99 except one or two (the cest and neck would probably not require the -99 as they will be the base for the egg since they are already connected by Linez. Then to make it more egg like, set the neck size maybe to -5. Play with the chest and the neck size until they appear to look like a good egg. This is how I did it for a snake breed I am doing, it isnt coming along very well though This is kind of how it should look: [Ball Size Override] 0, -99 1, -99 2, -99 3, -99 4, -99 5, -99 ..... (So on for all the balls)(if they are dog based then the following applies)50, 0 ;chest 51, -99 52, -99 53, -99 54, -5 ;neck (Make sure ALL addballs are also set to -99)WAY # 2, EGG CAN HAVE ITS OWN TEXTUREFirst of all, Add two balls in the add ballz, one slightly larger and the other smaller, connect them using Linez. Add the desired Egg texture to these two balls. Then do the following: --- in the baby's LNZ information, in the ball size override, you put all ball sizes to -99 except the two addballs you made to look like an egg. These you leave at 0 (or you can play around by adding to them or taking away, just not at -99) It should look like the following: [Ball Size Override] 0, -99 1, -99 2, -99 3, -99 4, -99 5, -99 ..... (So on for all the balls)(lets assume the egg balls are ball 154 and ball 155151, -99 152, -99 153, -99 154, 0 155, 0 (Make sure ALL addballs are also set to -99)PS- Those wings are totally awesome. How do you get them like that? I know how to make the general frame of the wings, just how do you get the webbed areas to fill in? That is totally great, these are coming along great!

I know Genuine prolly already explained it perfectly, but here's my idea. x3
Make a small white or whatever color addball and put it in the middle of the pet. In the puppy lnz, under [Ballz info override], put the ball number and a large number. Then in adult lnz under [Ballz info override] put the ball number and a small number. Maybe that will work. But you're prolly better off with Genuine's way, didn't read her post yet. x3

Yeah, the way you are thinking of it, Mutant Kit, is not omitting the ball so it will be visible on the adult no matter how small the pet is and the baby will still be visible in the egg.

Wow, I am going to try that. I have never messed with the puppy part...you can access that when you open it up in ResHacker right? PS- Those wings are totally awesome. How do you get them like that? I know how to make the general frame of the wings, just how do you get the webbed areas to fill in? That is totally great, these are coming along great! Thank you, I made them from scratch I really like them I just added balls and then connected them all to eachother and the frame. Mostly the linez took care of filling the space in Does that make sense? EDIT: Is there any way to make it not 'hatch' til 50 on the brainslider? Like.... when it is at 49 it still looks like the egg and then when it hits 50...BOOM a dragon!!!

Yup, makes perfect sense to me Beatiful work and good luck with those egg babys. PS- Yup, in Reshacker you open the puppy instead of the adlt LNZ info. The ball overide size is usually the last thing in there.

Yup, in Reshacker you open the puppy instead of the adlt LNZ info. Wait...so your still opening the main breedfile right? But then you just find different text...or...*is confused* You open the same thing when you are editing the adult right? Then you just find the baby section...right? *feels stupid*

Okay, yes, open the dragon file in ResHacker. In the list provided at the left choose the second option [LNZ] which will give you two more options; [_ _] and [_ _ PUP] (the _ _ is the letters given to certain breeds, for example GD is for Great Dane, JR for Jack Russell). Now choose the [_ _ PUP]. This is the pup's LNZ information. Click it and it will give you another option and choose it ( I am sur eyou knew that lol). It does not have HALF the amount of info as the adult so it is simple to find the [Ball Size Override]. Does that make more sense?

hmmm...it cam out weird...what did i do wrong? ; dalmation puppy [Default Linez File] \ptzfiles\dog\dm\dm.lnz [Default Scales];adult 150 145 98 normal pet scale 115 normal ball scale [Leg Extension];adult 10, 6 0 -4 [Body Extension];adult 0 -10 [Face Extension];adult 0 0 [Ear Extension];adult 100 100 [Head Enlargement];adult 98 118 -3 [Feet Enlargement];adult 110, 0 128 1 [Ball Size Override] 54, -99 8, -99 14, -99 32, -99 38, -99 49, -99 48, -5 50, 0 23, -99

Okay, is this the Exact list in the ball section or is ther emore balls on it than you posted?: [Ball Size Override] 54, -99 8, -99 14, -99 32, -99 38, -99 49, -99 48, -5 50, 0 23, -99
If this is the actual list, I did not explain well enough. This list must have EVERY ball in the adult on there. Balls number 0 to (last ball number on your adult ball list) with all of them set to -99. Your list should be EXTREMELY long because there has to be a pair of numbers for every ball in the adult. You will have to add them to this list because they do not automatically appear unless it is omitted in the adult.
EXAMPLE: [Ball Size Override] 0, -99 1, -99 2, -99 3, -99 4, -99 5, -99 6,-99 7,-99 8,-99 9,-99 10,-99
And so on. Say your adult dragon has 243 balls, this list should have balls number 0-243 on it, and the egg balls should be set at zero while the rest, all say 243 balls whould be at -99.
DOes that make more sense? Not really sure.
