Oh wow - I don't think I've seen a monkey hex before either! Definitely seems like a challenge but you're doing a great job!

Oh wow - I don't think I've seen a monkey hex before either! Definitely seems like a challenge but you're doing a great job! There was one on carolyns creations I think. But its the only one ive seen apart from mine. It is very annoying to make. Have you got any advice on the legs? I cant get them to look right D:

Monkey legs are more like ours versus cats/dogs which effectively are walking on their toes. The hip is in the same place but the knee is lower and the part called the 'ankle' ball is actually the ankle/back/heel edge of the foot and is very close to the floor. So to have the right structure, the paws need to be level with the ankle ball... Problem is that if you just move the ankle balls down, it'll animate weirdly. You could omit the ankle and build a new one based off the paws perhaps.
