I am so new to hexing, the only thing I know how to do (as of a few days ago) is change eyelid color. But if I want to change eyelid color to be 'selfie' and match the overall coat color, what numbers am I looking for, specifically, to see what number the coat color is? I'm using LNZ pro. Right now I have been using the Petz color chart to try and eyeball an estimation, but I figured there was probably an easier and more accurate way. Thanks!

This is pretty easy, it's just a little harder if you're working with a .pet file because there are no comments to tell you what body part is which. But you can work it out. Open up your file and find a section called [Ballz Info]. If you're working with a breedfile it should have some comments which should help you, but if it's a pet file you'll just see some lists of numbers, but it's not too complicated. Each line is a ball - like the head, chest, etc. The first number on each line is the colour of that ball, so you'll want to look at that. I'll guess since you're working with eyelids you'll probably want to match the head ball colour, so you'll want to know what number ball to look at. Again if you're in a breedfile this is easy, because there'll be a comment on each line saying what it is, but in a petfile you'll have to count. If you're working with a dog, the fifty-third ball is the head - for a cat, it's the twenty-fifth. Find the colour of that ball, and you have the one you want. But really you probably won't need to count down that many, if your pet is a majority one colour, you'll probably notice the main coat colour repeats a lot. For example I just opened up the dog on the left in LNZ Pro:
Here's his Ballz Info section:
See how you see most of the lines start with the number 55? If you check the colour chart, you can see that that's his main coat colour. So that's what you'll want to match.
(that said, his actual eyelid colour is 36/black, but he's just a regular AC dane.)
I hope that made sense. It's really not as intimidating as it looks!
