I'm getting back into hexing after a few years and Ive been doing a basic texture to practice. I set my texture to 'Show Texture Unchanged'' and it looks like this in the editor: The Catz is an edit of maine coon. The fur under is black. However when I go in game the catz shows up with a light gray version of the texture. Is there a way to fix this? The texture is saved in the catz file, I had it elsewhere before and nothing changed.

Don't add textures in PW, they rarely show up correctly. Use LNZ Pro instead

Did you make the texture yourself? If so, check that it is 256 colours.
There's actually no issue with adding textures via PWS. I do it all the time and have never encountered any issues. You just have to make sure the file path is correct because it automatically lists them as internal. So if they aren't internal they stop showing up once you remove the breedfile.

Thanks I didn't think of trying to make it 256 colour, That might just work.

If you haven't yet fixed this, is the texture path in LNZ pro where the texture is? Also, what color is the body of the cat? It looks white (10s) but I feel like it could also be one of the sneaky white-looking colors like 7. Make sure the body color is texturable, which would be 10 - 149.
