Hi!

I'm Fran and I was so happy to find this forum! Especially when I saw people are still active in it. I used to play Petz as a kid and downloaded the games again on a whim a couple of days ago. Then I discovered that you can download new breedz and install mods and all that (unthinkable to baby-me), and then I found old backups of some pets of mine from 15 years ago... I was hooked again XD Right now my goal is to breed as many Dachies as I can, because they are perfect.
It's nice to meet everyone here!

Ahh these games just hook us back into them, don't they? There's something so charming about a game like Petz, small and simple that you can get creative about, that new games don't have...
It really is crazy cool! I'd remembered an old CD I had somewhere, it's so cool seeing the "Adopted: July 8, 2006" in their pages. Search for your floppy disks!! I bet there's something put away somewhere, there always is.

Hi, Bec!! Thanks for the welcome, and yes, I love Dachies... I think them, Poodles, and Siameses will (already do XD) make the bulk of my pets.

flowers: i think it's more of an umbrella policy against any forms of piracy. it is abandonware but definitely not public domain or released free. the classic petz games are in a fun legal limbo. but even if u cant buy it anymore, ea owns it so its still piracy :/ Jul 30, 2024 20:35:07 GMT -5
