Sorry for the delay in judging!
1st - Unique's When The Dog Has Flown 2nd - Anthracite's Heather 3rd -Rho's Thunder Perfect Mind 4th - Cargo's Found The Beat HM - Zan's Summer Dream
Explanation:
I know people tend to value a dog's grace/symmetry a lot in these shows, but I also value action and dynamism. I like it when a picture looks like a dog is really going for that frisbee.
I think Alex is very good. He looks very expressi@amandave but his position is really neat and graceful.
I placed Heather second because she looks like she's flailing a bit but I like the shot -- it's like we're seeing her catch a frisbee with all her might!
Stillshine looks calm and collected and easily catching the frisbee while having his legs straight in a big leap.
Berner was almost a tie with Stillshine, actually! He looks like like he's ~soaring through the air~ with his back legs but this is a good shot!
Tamarind looks kind of turned away from the camera and a bit bored but I like the pose, it's like he's making a nice arch through the air. Sorry for the placement but I think I'd usually place him higher, the competition was just fierce this time.
This was actually a really hard show to judge because all the entries were good, the dogs are in very nice poses and some would have placed higher if not for the competition, so I ended up using the "action-y" aspect as a tie breaker and looking at details like camera angle.

Thanks! I appreciate the commentary too, as it helps with what to aim for (especially since I don't think there's an agreed upon standard to judge frisbee shows against; it's fun to see what different judges prefer!). I'll have to try something more dynamic next time!
