Yet Another Long-Time Petz Fan

Howdy hey everybody! I'm No-Luck Duck (aka bootsa, aka Liz) and I recently got back into Petz in a big way! Since I didn't want to bore my poor boyfriend with my endless gushing I thought maybe joining a forum would be a good idea.

I was first introduced to Petz as a wee bean with Catz II in like... '98 or '99? I proceeded to acquire Catz 3 followed by Petz 4 and Petz 5 as they came out. I learned a lot about computing and using the internet because of them. I would spend hours surfing through various Petz sites looking at all the cool stuff people had done (but I was afraid to download anything unofficial since I didn't want to get a virus). I remember one website had a midi of the Chariots of Fire Theme...

Anyways, besides Petz I am a big fan of Pokemon, simulation/tycoon/management games, Kingdom Hearts, and just a whole bunch of other games! I have a lot of other loves in pop culture like Disney/Pixar, various youtubers, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, and lots more!

What else... I have mental health and wellness issues and I'm pretty open about them, but I won't bonk you over the head with them all the time. I used to do art A LOT, but due to the aforementioned issues I haven't been able to do any. :C I think I might be able to soon though! I try to follow the golden rule and not discriminate.

Hi, welcome back to petz, and welcome to the petz community and RKC! I also am very aware that I probably bore my boyfriend with excessive talk of petz lol (though to be fair he has always taken an interest and come to see whenever I've been particularly excited about a pet I've bred of adopted) so the forum definitely helps.

Those catz are super cute; that colour of tabby markings was actually the first mutation I ever saw in a pet I'd bred, I didn't even know it could happen until then and I was amazed! I still really like that colour, though I'm more into dogz than catz.

I think I knew about mutations as a kid but I never had the patience to do much breeding with my Petz. But now it's like 10X easier with PetzA. I do have a semi-crew group as well that I'm raising more normally.

I really liked it when I first saw it! I've also gotten a white base color mutation on a couple catz, and I've got some gray with stripes. The gray is from the alley cat OW file I have, but they're all very nice looking. I'll probably adopt out some of the best mixies that aren't what I want at some point.

I also might do a dogz project after I finish my current one! Not sure what tho. Something fluffy with dali spots maybe?

It's been pretty nice so far! Kind of quiet haha but I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It started as more or less "something something alley cat sounds" and has evolved into oshie/tabby body types with tabby stripes, oshie tails, alley sounds, and black, white, or gray fur. I have some grays and blacks, next is getting a white specimen. I'm not super concerned about the final results breeding true, which is good because they kinda don't. I'll probably post about it when I'm finally done.
