Back again - a reintroduction

Well, it's been almost six years... guess I should re-introduce myself. 

I used to run madcaprevolution.com (don't bother going there, it's a dead site now) and it had some petz stuff on it. I had a TON of petz, hexies, brexies, and naturalz of all kinds that I loved and adored. Then there was a divorce, two major moves (one to another state), a wedding, and all told I lost that computer and both my backups of all my files, including my hexies I had both collected and designed myself. Needless to say, with everything going on and that massive loss (which legit made me cry on several occasions), I hadn't had the heart or time to come back.

So I'm back but I'm starting from absolute scratch. CatCreature tagged me in a thread reminding me of one of my fave old breeds, the borzoi and coming back here after I got that email got me remembering how much fun I had with petz before life imploded. I'm facing some big stuff in life right now that keeps me out of work, but that means lots of spare time on my hands to think too much OR I could play Petz again and get absorbed in something fun, creative, and uplifting, with a community that just doesn't quit. 

Anyway, that's me. I'm an interdimensional dumpster phoenix that just keeps rising again from the ashes. I go by my gamertag almost everywhere nowadays which is VixieVictory so I might change my callname here to that just to keep things consistent. 

If anyone remembers me or still has any of my old hexed files I shared with the world, I'd love to get my hands on them again. Thanks!

Welcome back! Losing all your petz stuff sounds so devastating, especially when you were going through so many life changes. I hope you can still have fun starting from scratch and let me know if there's anything I can to do help.

I tried using the Internet Archive to access your downloads on your old site but that's not working, so I hope someone can track things down for you. <3

Aww, I'm glad to see you again, although I'm so sorry that you've been through so much! (So have I...) But hopefully having some time to just lose yourself in Petz again will help cheer you up! <3


I do still have Gnome who you gave me! ^^ If I have any others I'm not thinking of at the moment, they'd still be in my P5 game and I haven't finished converting it. But Gnome might have been the only one? I know there were more I wanted, but it was a while back and I can't recall what else you had back then. I can email a copy of him to you, so you can re-use his base for other hexies, if you like?

That'd be awesome! I could at least use his base to remake my hexie of my dog, Kai. I still have Kai and I'd love to have a petzy version again. Your hexie, gnome, looks a lot like the base I used for Kai. my email is vixievictory (at) gmail (dot) com 

Yeah, it's been a crazy few years for everyone. I just wish the ex hadn't kept my computer.

It would be almost funny to try and contact your ex and be all, "So you can keep the computer...but can I at least have my .pet files back??" xP That does suck though, and I'm sorry about that!

This does sound familiar though, I bet this is the base you used for Kai! ^^ And if not, it's a good starting point! I'll email you a copy of him now!

Awww hello, welcome back! I'm so sorry to hear about your petz. I once had a calico hexie from you I bought from PUGS, I returned it to you but if you no longer have the file I could try and dig it up from my email? I believe it was a smarties calico? I was lunarkitty when we last spoke

Welcome back! You been through so much but as you said, like a Phoenix you keep rising up! Your return is proof of that and I hope you have a new spark to create despite the work that was lost. I also have been through a lot of hardships, although they are not the same as yours, I still try to keep going and move forward. Coming back to something that once brought joy, like Petz, is good.

Welcome back! I've been in the community for a long time but wasn't really active in 2015 so I never got to see your site or anything! I took a peek at it on wayback and it looked really nice!

Also sorry to hear that you lost all your files! Do you have access to the email address you used then? I'm assuming you do unless you've changed emails. But I know I recovered some missing files at one point by going back into my emails I had received from others to get back some petz I had been sent, and looking back in my Sent folder to find ones I had made and sent out to others. Could be worth a look maybe?
