I don’t exactly remember when I started with Oddballz and Petz II but I was 12 when I first opened my website in 1998. So I was probably 10 or 11 the first time I played!

I believe I win the "Elder Award" so far in this thread... I was 33. I got my first computer, Catz II was my first game... and the rest is a long and really weird history. Wow. If this isn't a sign of my age... StoryMaker, I actually watched reruns of the Superman show you have as your avatar, when I was little. Good to see you StoryMaker! Love these kinds of threads, been a wonderful read! Edits: By way of another thread I started, the email I got that showed my history of images in August 1998, means I was 32, not 33. Ah! I feel even older. I was 33 when I put up my first Petz web site in Nov. 98 (Not that this is of any importance whatsoever.)

I was 12 when I first played petz. I only remember because I recall catz (yes, the original) had JUST released and my stepdad left me to play the demo while he shopped in best buy. I was hooked, but I didn't have my own computer for a couple years after that. I played off and on, but didn't join the community until my late 20s because I had no idea it was even here.
I still played on and off during my hiatuses except this last one because I was too devastated by the loss of my old crew. I've used several different call names, but that's because I had several major identity crises over the years. Mama Bear, Maddie, and now Vixie Victory are the most recent and only ones I can remember, now.
Petz kept me sane during some pretty crazy times... This community really brightened up some dark times for me. I'm so glad to be back.

I can't recall the exact age but I wanna say I first played when I was between 7 and 9. I got Catz II when I saw it at a computer show I was at with my Dad. There were actually very few games there I think; I remember it being pretty boring. [rofl] I loved calico cats, it had a cat on the cover, and Dad deemed it appropriate and not too expensive. Thus, an obsession was born. I've definitely been on and off again but I feel like I'll be sticking around for a while this time.
