You just taught me quite a bit about snails. I didn't know they could be kept as pets other than the ones that are bred to clean fish tanks. XD The shells of yours are really pretty!

We have a couple of snails at home, too. Not sure what kind they are (my sister works with produce and found them in various shipments), but they look similar to yours. ^^

stancymckatt Always happy to nerd about snails Thank you for the hugs :3 Lee @ December I recognise your name and prefix C. nemoralis (and the closely related C. hortensis) are native to northern-central Europe and limited parts of western Asia, but they've been introduced to the US, if that helps. They're a temperate species, don't deal well with extremes. There are related species in more specialist environments, but they're less variable.
