I'm planning out another complicated (to me) hex. The dog was a chow chow bloodhound cross. So he had the chow chow curly tail, but he was a shorthair. I can't find any pictures of him to show as an example with his tail curled... yet. I'm going to have to look at online photos of other dogs, because Chip would get so excited to see me that he'd wag his tail hard, and his tail would mostly uncurl in photos. A Norwegian Buhund's tail is the closest to what his looked like, that I've found so far. What I've worked out so far is to move the addballs for the tail around a bit at a time to where I want them to go. I'm worried about the movement of the tail wagging looking correct. I'm not expecting it to uncurl like the real Chip. I'm afraid that balls will go flying in weird directions though. I've studied the tutorials over on Hexpedia and Kalium's Petz Place, but they don't quite cover what I'm wanting to do. Does anyone know of a tutorial closer to what I'm looking for? Tips are welcome too! Thanks for your time :-)

I'm not expecting it to uncurl like the real Chip. I'm afraid that balls will go flying in weird directions though as long as you base all the addballz off of tail1, they don't go flying. that's really all there is for addball tails no matter the shape. create each addball from the tail1 ball and put them in the shape you want. That makes it shake and have movement but it won't uncurl
