Could anyone point me to a Tutorial for adding new Addballs in PWS?
Hopefully a very basic... PWS 101 version? With pictures (I hope)?
I've been looking off and on for a week or so, and can't seem to find one. (I'm probably just missing it.)
Thanks :-)

I don’t have a tutorial and I can’t tell left from right so bear with me... So the mouse button you click with primarily is the left one right? Use the non primary one, the right one. Click on the ball you want to base the addball off of (I think the belly is a good place for stable balls) then click ‘add addball’ and tadaa, a random ball will appear floating
you can then use the filthy hippie petz workshop 101 tutorial to move resize and everything just like every other ball ^^

Don't worry about left from right. I have trouble with it most of the time. It doesn't help that I'm using my mouse set to left handed as it's almost worn out (normal primary button hangs occasionally.) Thank you... That explains what I was missing! There's not really anything that I've found explaining that that menu exists.
Since you like writing, I thought you might find the vocabulary interesting :-) Clicking the non primary button on the mouse (in case someone's reversed the buttons)= Alt-click or click the alternate button The menu that appears afterwards = Context Menu

I’m so glad that was the missing info you needed! And wow I love the vocab lesson, I actually have two characters this could be super useful for, if you have more super common computer terms I’d love to hear? You could PM me ^^

Hi Stancy, Sasha's suggestion of Filthy Hippie has a great PWS overview, Hexpedia also has some great tutorials for specific things, like making addball ears or tails and also how to flip addballs

Man I wish I could wrap my brain around PW. I tried a while back... old dog here. I still do it using code in the lnz. Takes me forever. Which is why I don't have many hexes with a lot of cool extras added on. lol
*bows low before PW hexers*

But I don't know too much about making my own addballz :C As for addballz, I looked around for you on various websites that I know have tutorials and I feel like there aren't very many tutorials for making addballz out there huh? I think once you get the idea of "how" to do an addball on PWS, you can just do what you want? So probably a general overview of how it works is all you might find. I know that PKC has a bunch of hexing resources and I think one time they did a class on how to make a breedfile (which requires a lot of addballz). I don't know how to find that thread anymore tho. I wonder if there are some folks out there who are willing like walk you thru the steps of doing something? I know there's a few hexers that have live streamed before so I wonder if someone has done this and posted a video with some commentary??

Hi Stancy, Sasha's suggestion of Filthy Hippie has a great PWS overview, Hexpedia also has some great tutorials for specific things, like making addball ears or tails and also how to flip addballs Umm...I didn't find mention of the alt click menu anywhere on Filthy Hippie's PWS 101 (which is a wonderful tutorial), maybe I missed it?... I did find it on Hexapedia in the Flipping Addballs tutorial though. I completely overlooked the sentence explaining it. *facepalm* Maybe I ought to make a little tutorial, with pictures, for my own reference. Once I practice a bit.... Man I wish I could wrap my brain around PW. I tried a while back... old dog here. I still do it using code in the lnz. Takes me forever. Which is why I don't have many hexes with a lot of cool extras added on. lol ETA: A lot of your hexies are very cute! I'm making plans to play with breeding several of your OWBF catz. You just have a different style ;-) Sounds like me on the blogger WISIWYG for coding pages... I'm continually going in and typing things manually. (The last update they took out tables... I'm having to put my stamps into tables manually.) I miss my old HTML editor, but it's so old it requires Java to be installed in my computer which is a big NOPE from me at the moment. I'm very visual on hexing, I wouldn't be able to do it without PWS. I tried to do it in Notepad, and in LNZ. LNZ is a huge improvement over Notepad (color coding for the win). Hahaha I'm new to hexing (learned in 2020) and I still chose to learn LNZ over trying to figure out PW-- that program is not for me hahahaha. But I don't know too much about making my own addballz :C I'm glad you've found out what works for you :-) As for addballz, I looked around for you on various websites that I know have tutorials and I feel like there aren't very many tutorials for making addballz out there huh? I think once you get the idea of "how" to do an addball on PWS, you can just do what you want? So probably a general overview of how it works is all you might find. Overview is fine... When I don't overlook it 5 or 6 times (Hexapedia). That's what I get for hexing after my parents go to bed, I guess. I know that PKC has a bunch of hexing resources and I think one time they did a class on how to make a breedfile (which requires a lot of addballz). I don't know how to find that thread anymore tho. I'm not a member there, so it doesn't matter too much if you can't find it. The class sounds super nice though :-) I wonder if there are some folks out there who are willing like walk you thru the steps of doing something? I know there's a few hexers that have live streamed before so I wonder if someone has done this and posted a video with some commentary?? I think an old stream would be helpful to watch if someone knows of one...Maybe on youtube, or maybe twitch?
