Hi all! I posted this on Whiskerwick and realized I haven't yet posted here on RKC, but hope to be more active here My name is Julia and I started playing Petz back in 2005 when a friend introduced me to it and I became instantly hooked. I ran a site for a short while called Blitz before I stopped playing around 2011 because #life. Recently, however, I was cleaning out my email when I found a long-forgotten folder called Petz. I went on a nostalgic binge and I was so happily surprised to see the PC was still kicking -- and as soon as I realized that, my obsession with Petz was instantly reignited. I'm absolutely ecstatic to be here, really! (I even scoured the internet on my work computer so I could compile a list of still-active Petz sites lmfao) I've already dug out all of my Petz and photos from my external hard drive and my mind is running wild with ideas I want to experiment with hexing! I'm also hoping to get a site up soon (working name: Kimchi). Now that I'm a (still kind of shy) ~*adult*~ I'm excited to properly become an actual participating member of the PC. IRL, I have a one-eyed, wildly adorable and spoiled 13-year-old Havanese-Bichon named Bo who's the love of my life. Outside of my boring desk job I create and sell enamel pins (sometimes patches) under my brand, Toebeans. I still love video games (currently playing FE:TH Paper Mario and loving it), and I also love watching horror movies and binge reading/watching manga/anime. I love meeting new people so please reach out if you do too 😊 So excited about getting back into the PC (although it's not like you ever leave, let's be real)!

Bo sounds adorable <3 My partner is playing FE:TH and loves it. Paper Mario looks funny but I don't know if I'll try it. What anime you currently watching haha? I watch something with my partner each night-- right now we are doing Fate/Apocrypha and I am not a Fate fan but we're at the last couple episodes and those fights are gorgeous!
Nice to meet you :)

Thor Nice to meet you too!💖 He is the most adorable if I do say so myself :'3 We're watching Haikyuu!! for some needed upbeatness lol it's so cute, but the last anime I watched that I loved is Dorohedoro! Demon Slayer was also quite good -- I actually wasn't too into it and stopped half way through the season, then we revisited it and I was like what the heck -- why did we ever stop?? Fate has always interested me and I know the VN is supposed to be really good, but there are so in the series, it's always intimidated me 🙈 I actually totally never even finished TH I need to go back and do that! Longer games almost always get abandoned by me once something shiny and new comes along lol I'm the worst. The new Paper Mario is adorable, genuinely funny, and quite fun, but i still hasn't beaten the Thousand Year Door for me!

Welcome back to the Petz Community <3 I've been in and out since 2001. So we may have bumped into each other at some point. (Same name the whole time.)
I'm looking forward to seeing your new website.
I haven't had the opportunity to watch any Anime for years... I liked G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam Wing Endless Waltz, and Big O. I also liked Digimon, and early Pokemon (I've only seen up to the 2nd movie). My manga reading is mostly restricted to what I can get at the library. My favorite was Pokemon Adventures, sadly the library only has up until Volume 9.
Have you ever watched Code Lyoko? It's french but I mistook it for an Anime at first.

Bahaha stancymckatt you basically just named all the anime I watched in my childhood because of Toonami and Adult Swim xD We watched Big-O recently actually :) Code Lyoko was cool too I remember liking it. I just re-watched Digimon Tamers and I love it so much <3 I'm a huge Digimon fan and played a new Digimon RPG x3 Glad to hear Paper Mario is fun :) it looked really adorable

Hello~ and welcome!
I too grew up watching things like the original Digimon, Monster Rancher, Sailor Moon, and DBZ. I love the Fate series but it is intimidating. I'm into things like Fairy Tail, Fruits Basket, and DGM. But my all time favorite manga/anime is Tsubasa by CLAMP. Anything BY CLAMP really I'm obsessed with.
I'm also into cartoons like MLP:FIM, The Dragon Prince, Voltron, and She-ra. Currently I'm watching Avatar: The Last Airbender for the first time and am loving it!
Bo sounds so cute! I love that you have a disabled pet. We have a pride of cats (literally 10), 2 guinea pigs, a hamster, 4 rats, 2 ball pythons, a Savannah monitor, and 2 beta fish. So our own mini zoo lol
I hope you like it here. I like making new friends. ^^

I just re-watched Digimon Tamers and I love it so much <3 I'm a huge Digimon fan and played a new Digimon RPG x3 That's exactly where I watched most of mine at! Tamers was the one that got me interested in Digimon, then I watched the reruns of digimon adventures when Hello~ and welcome! Monster Rancher, I forgot about that one. I was crazy over it for awhile, and I remember being very disappointed that the games were for PlayStation. And I forgot about Hamtaro! Which is silly... There's so many Hamtaro Hexies around. julia I don't mind making friends either. So DM me if you want to. :-)

It's possible but I wasn't on any forums or anything back then -- I was way too shy to put myself out there growing up haha Hopefully I actually get it up and running and don't flake! My husband loves Gundam and I tried to watch it with him twice, but just couldn't get into it. Third time's the charm though I guess so definitely going to have to revisit it one of these days lol Digimon and Pokemon though omg my entire childhood! It's actually impressive how extensive libraries have become -- you should definitely ask if your library can request other volumes for you from other libraries! I watched Lyoko a ton when I was younger but it sort of scared me haha I think probably because it was sort of more serious than other shows I was watching. If you ever need any anime recs, let me know! Bahaha stancymckatt you basically just named all the anime I watched in my childhood because of Toonami and Adult Swim xD We watched Big-O recently actually Code Lyoko was cool too I remember liking it. Hi welcome back! Bo sounds cute and what a neat thing to do with the enamel pins! I also love horror movies! -Bec- thanks so much! we just groomed him so he looks especially adorable now c: watch any good horror lately you'd want to recommend?! i've been wanting to watch possessor but my husband isn't a fan of horror haha Hello~ and welcome! If you ever need any anime recs, let me know! I live in a rural area, so we're quite limited on what's available. I've been thinking of asking a friend who has manga's if she'd be willing to loan me some of what she's read. Lyoko was scary... Worse than Reboot. And that was saying a lot back then. As I'd watched Swat Kats, Batman TAS, and Batman Beyond by that point. Do you read books? If so you might like DragonSong, and DragonSinger by Anne McCaffrey The rest of her books are more miss than hit for me. Those two are really good though.

Yeah Cyber Sleuth is quite long but nostalgia kept me going and I finished it all. I didn't care much for the battle system-- super bare minimum, but all the Digimon had me happy. I'm excited for Survival but I think its delayed?

If you haven't watched The Invisible Man yet that one is definitely worth watching. I've watched it probably four times lol also I watched a movie with Kevin Bacon called You Should Have Left. It was really strange but interesting! I haven't watched The Possessor yet I don't believe but I'm gonna check into it now lol -Bec-

Hi julia! Welcome back to the fuzzy warm embrace of the Petz games. I only watched a few episodes of one Gundam series, but I do enjoy building the kits quite a bit. I wish I'd known that mech kits existed as a kid. I've always loved building things, but was only aware of the standard western fare back in the day (model planes, trains, and automobiles). That stuff didn't ignite my interest in the same way that piloted super-robots would have!
