Wanted to take the time to extend a thank you to everyone for the amazing adoptables here, on PUGS, as well as on personal sites. It has been such a joy to go through and make some of my first adoptions/purchases since coming back to the petz community. Just wanted to share these magnificent doggos and tell you a little bit about them as well as who they are from.
Etsumi ♀ - Tokimune ♂ - Kyoto ♀ - Wairudokado ♀ - Haku ♂ - Kaba ♂ - Tsuta ♀ - Ichijiku ♀
Etsumi - Formerly called Emma, her Japanese name now roughly means love, affection, and beautiful harbor. This gorgeous girl is a hex called a Mudslide Sheepie. She was adopted from the website Pearflower by paranoiapaige . I love her textures and goofy sheepie personality. Thank you!
Tokimune - This handsome tamsin was named after a character from a manga series that centers around dogs (as is my name/avatar). He was purchased on PUGS from Returntopetz or Nostalgic here on RKC. He's a stunner with those icy eyes and selfie lids. Thank you!
Kyoto - Formerly called Florida Tetrazygia, her Japanese name is now the capital city of Kyoto Prefecture in Japan. She was purchased on PUGS from paranoiapaige . I couldn't resist her puffy legs/feet and lack of a tail. The pink eyes with her blue coat also reminded me of a tamsin I had many years ago. Thank you!
Wairudokado - The remaining pup of the popular "Joker" litters, I named her after the Japanese word for Wild Card in the spirit of her father's namesake. She was purchased on PUGS from Ryder ☆ of the same name here on RKC. She's absolutely gorgeous and I feel lucky to have gotten her. Thank you!
Haku - My absolute first adoption upon returning, this handsome guy was snagged from a huge lot of freebies posted here on RKC by Willow . He was named after my favorite character in my favorite Miyazaki animated film, Spirited Away. I fell in love with not only his coat but those spectral eyes of his. He is my current show forerunner and is already almost a SGCh! Thank you!
Kaba - Formerly called Hippo, his Japanese name is also hippo! This sheepie style tamsin snagged my attention with his symmetrical mutt patches, selfie eyes, and selfie lids. He was worth every point spent as I purchased him on PUGS from Mona. (Not sure if you are on RKC or which name you go by here.) Thank you!
Tsuta - This girl is actually sporting a traditionally masculine Japanese name which means Ivy because of her bright green eyes. She too was purchased on PUGS from Returntopetz or Nostalgic here on RKC. I fell for the symmetry of her mutt patches as well as her somewhat non-traditional ears. Thank you!
Ichijiku - A mini sheepie tamsin named fig in Japanese because she's cute as a little fruit! She was adopted from commander and their very generous breeding service right here on RKC. I enjoy her tiny stature as well as color combination. Thank you!
Minichua ♂ - Dosoku ♂ - Koori ♀ - Kamaji ♂ - Gaijin ♂ - Yuzu ♂ - Yami ♀ - Hitsuji ♀
Minichua - Formerly called Spot, his Japanese name now means miniature for obvious reasons! He's my first shortie which is pretty exciting. I adored how deep his red coloration seemed, all those various patches, and those matching grey eyes to his sheepie butt. He was purchased from Penny @ Just Dandy on PUGS. Thank you!
Dosoku - Named after the Japanese word for shoes because this guy's got 'em! He is my first lab since returning to the game and I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. I tend to be a sucker for sheepie feet especially when they are disproportionate to the rest of the dog. He's so goofy too. I purchased him from Buck on PUGS. Thank you!
Koori - This stunner lady is named for the Japanese word meaning ice because "she's as cold as ice!" No, because "ice, ice baby!" No but really because she has those gorgeous icy blue eyes along with that almost totally spotless white coat with selfie lids! She's a dali lovers dream come true. I purchased her from Returntopetz on PUGS or Nostalgic here on RKC. Thank you!
Kamaji - He was named after another character from my favorite Miyazaki animated film, Spirited Away! That character worked with these little magical creatures called soot balls. His black & white coat with the spots reminded me of that whimsical aspect and so he got his name! A handsome tamsin with selfie lids and another pair of piercing eyes! I purchased him from Amanda from Cargo on PUGS. Thank you!
Gaijin - I showed this guy off before he even lived with me! His name means foreigner because he has a strange mutation that occurs on his toes but only at certain angles. I was looking for something meaning stranger and that was what I got! He's not only handsome but he is my very first trotter! He was adopted from the generous breeding service being offered by commander here on the forum. Thank you!
Yuzu - This is Gaijin's brother and so I've showed him off before as well. His name means citrus fruit because of those orange ears and spots! He's definitely more reserved than his brother but has great show potential which I will probably cash in on at some point. He too was adopted from the generous breeding service being offered by commander here on the forum. Thank you!
Yami - This is Gaijin & Yuzu's sister and again I've showed her off before. Her name means darkness which is quite befitting especially because that dark coat hides her subtle spotting that her brother Yuzu sports! I also love her ears. She's a sweet thing and really quite hyper. He was adopted from the generous breeding service being offered by commander here on the forum. Thank you!
Hitsuji - Her Japanese name means sheep since she is has so very many sheepie qualities. Just purchased today from Bec on PUGS! She's just the cutest thing and combines so many great features that I find myself drawn to. She's literally got it all and I look forward to breeding her in the future. Thank you!
Deido ♀ - Supurasshu ♂ - Tedibea ♂ - Akatora ♂ - Tsunami ♂
Deido - What is it about pink eyes!? This simple beauty's Japanese name means muddy or soiled because she looks like she stepped in clay. Plus she has that tan coat which is sandy in color as well. I purchased her during the final hours of PUGS from Bec because I simply couldn't resist and I wanted to have one more memory from there. Thank you!
Supurasshu - This tri-colored prince is named splash in Japanese. It's simply the word that came to mind when I first saw him especially in that playful pose he had in the adoption thread. He and his 'brothers' below were all adopted by the ever fantastic Willow who always has such wonderful dogz up for grabs. It's difficult to restrain myself. Thank you!
Tedibea - STUNNER! His name means Teddy bear in Japanese and for good reason! He just looks so snuggly to me besides his good looks. He was the absolute first of his 'brothers' to catch my eye and I immediately logged on to ask for him. I feel lucky to have him and he has just entered the show ring so I'm sure you'll see him around there. Again, from Willow so thank you!
Akatora- Aptly named red tiger in Japanese due to his brindled 'stripes.' He was the one I added on last minute during my attempt to limit the number of dogz I adopted from Willow but I simply could not resist. Although I don't think anyone can blame me! He's just as handsome as any of the others. Thank you!
Tsunami - I feel like I don't really need to explain this name (for once)! I settled on it due to the swirling blues of his coat that seem to wash up onto his sandy hindquarters. Just like his 'brothers' he will be joining the show circuit eventually but for now is just living the spoiled life. Another winner from Willow which deserves another, thank you!
Gatai ♂ - Hato ♂
Gatai - My very first Pittie! I tried so hard to refrain from getting into this breed by sexpotlida but I couldn't resist after CatCreature 'went a little crazy' with these guys. I adored the show offs and keenly eyed any and all sheepie variations. So when it was time to share the wealth in freebie adoptions I graciously got a tag. I didn't even change his name because it's actually a japanese prefix for impossible, as in impossible to resist. Seems like it was meant to be! Thank you!
Hato - This guy is from my favorite breeding service by commander and was quite the surprise because I was looking for a dachie mix. Despite some dachie like litter mates, which I forego, I fell in love with him. He walks like a bullie which gives him this turned in gait. That's how he got his name of 'pigeon' in Japanese. Thank you!
Fanshi ♀ - Arikui ♂ - Musume ♀
Fanshi - I absolutely could not resist this angel and I finally went ahead with adding external breedfiles to my game because look at her! Her name means fancy because she is. I adopted her from one of the borzoi/saluki litters by Whimsu in the freebies section. She's an absolute sweetheart and she has formed quite a strong bond with the next boy, Arikui. <3 Also because she already has fans, CatCreature this is "Dixie" all grown up!
Arikui - His name means anteater because that's what he reminds me of! I adore this breedfile but there's something about that curved snoot that always makes me think of that animal. Again, only in the absolute best way! I adopted him from a purebred borzoi litter by jayfeather in the freebies section. He's such a sweet dog and he adores Fanshi. It's the sweetest little romance ever. <3
Musume - Her name means daughter and she is a gorgeous Thomasin by Rho who has been developing and sharing the breed with RKC! I missed out on the first two batches but was fortunate enough to snag this beauty. I adore her and the whole new 'designer breed' being developed.
Kitsune ♂ - Kaiso ♂ - Kon ♂ - Mayonaka ♀ - Fuyu ♀ - Pinku ♀
Kitsune - His name means fox because that's exactly what he looked like especially as a pup! I tried to resist adopting so many from the same litter (his brothers are Kaiso & Kon) but he was too perfect. He is from the stud and dam service being provided by Rho which was so much fun. In fact, his dam is Pinku!
Kaiso - His name means seaweed which is a recall to a dog I had years ago! He looked so similar but was smooth coated instead. Again he is the sibling to Kitsune and Kon and the son of Pinku. From the amazing stud and dam service by Rho which I highly recommend.
Kon - His name means friend because he's such a good natured dog and so very handsome! I adore his brown ears with his brown halfie markings. Such a stunner! He is brother to Kitsune and Kaiso and son of Pinku. From the stud dam service by Rho that I will have to do again soon!
Mayonaka - Her name means midnight for obvious reasons! She was bred with some sort of OW which has given her those amazing leopard spots. Those are some of my favorite markings to be honest. She was purchased on the Flea Market from Rho because how could I not?
Fuyu - Her name means winter because he is part Husky. Bred with different OWs she has my favorite inverted dali ears! She was adopted from the breeding service offered by stancymckatt who has an awesome crew to choose from. It was difficult choosing just one pup from the litter.
Pinku - Her name simply means pink! I have a new obsession with halfie tamsins that have similar "halves." Plus she has pink eyes and selfie lids. I purchased her on the Flea Market from zan and am eager to find more like her. She's such a beauty!
