Holy guacamole, guys. I think I picked some tough breeds to start my kennel out with! I'm having a LOT of trouble getting my roughs and shelties to pose for me, let alone throw a show-quality pose! Does anyone have any tips on dealing with long, complex coated breeds? I'm noticing that small alignment issues are made GLARING in some of these files due to coat alignment. Steep learning curve for sure, and of course my BEST pose from one of my roughs is a BHW, and that's faulted in PKC (for some reason), and my best smoothie also isn't A-reg due to lack of tan pointing as he's a BM. Anywho, what do ya'll think of some of these poses? Welp, I thought I had some shelties ready for ya'll but... NOPE! I'll edit this once my littles decide they want to throw me a pose!

The Roughies are beautiful! The rear legs look fantastic, and I love the head on the first one. Low heads aren't my fave, but the second one is nicely presented as well.
The smoothie is a bit too far away from the camera, although this is still a nice pose and useable imo. The rear hocks should be able to form a straight line, and you can see on the front by the belly that the left leg is a bit visible. Overall, really nice job on all of these poses! I think you're going to kill it at PKC.

Wow, thank you so much for your feedback, Buck! I'm so glad to hear I'm on the right track. So exciting! *squeals* Those points about the smoothie's pic are so spot on, I can totally see it now that you've pointed it out. *edit* double post deleted, thank you for the reminder, Alex
